Have been using it for a couple weeks now. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Still not sure if these sorts of devices (or hanging upside down) actually allow for a decompression of the spine, but it will definitely stretch you! The only downside, as others have pointed out, are the very short legs, which means you will need to get all the way on the floor to use it, and I can see this being an issue for older people.
This is a GOOD back stretch! I've had lower L4 back issues for almost 2 yrs now. I have tried PT, cortisone shot, even 2 epidurals!, and bi weekly appts to a chiropractor among other things. With This Thing, I used it ONE time and WOW! such a difference already. I wake up with a stiff back and always felt like I needed to be pulled and strethched. This does the job! I found this while researching inversion tables along with the DRX9000 machine at chirpractor's office. I've heard great reviews on them but it's not covered by insurance and is very $$$! Give this thing a try if you have lower back issues. I was Amazed at what this did for my issues! Very recommended!
This is perfect to stretch your back in between chiropractic appointments!!!
Easy to assemble. Gives a nice stretch and allows for gradual decrease in compression
Works really well for relieving lower back pain
I purchased this because my lower back pain was getting progressively worse. I felt relief after the first use. It took my pain level from an 8 to a 4. Now, after decompressing for 5 minutes in the morning and evening, I have very little pain while up and walking. I still have some pain while sitting, but it's much better than before. This is not a "silver bullet" that will fix your underlying problem. It will, however, provide relief, mainly to the lower back.
This is great if you need a lower back stretch and don't have any shoulder pain/ problems. We were looking for something more for the upper back / neck area and this was not the right machine for us. But it made our lower back feel great.
haven't used it a lot yet but it seems easy enough to use. easy to put together.
It does a good stretch for the body without inversion. However, it needs to be redesigned for tall people. The headend of the table is too short for anyone 6 feet or over.
there's a piece you have to manually Bend because it has been crushed by Machinery while it was being made. and it's a little tricky to do it by yourself and keep your back straight without leaning and twisting, but if you have another person it works fine.
