This is a very nice elliptical! It does not take up much space & it is very good quality for the price! I debated between a few different ellipticals for about a week before purchasing this one & I am so happy with my decision! I ultimately went with this elliptical because the reviews were so good, I kept finding myself coming back to it & I really liked the sleek look of it! My only complaint is that i do wish that the stride length was longer but I just pedal backwards on it & I don't notice it at all in that direction. I am 5'6 for reference. I have had this elliptical for less than a month & I use it at least 5 days a week! I have racked up close to 100 miles on it so far so I can honestly say from lots of experience that it runs well & that it truly does give an awesome workout! I am down 8lbs so far & would definitely recommend this model to a friend!!
Boy do you get a great work out. I have had mine and I am seeing results after a week and half. Do not let this machine fool you- if you have been a runner or a walker, this machine will show you elsewise. The first day I could only do one minute, I have worked up to 12 minutes and later do 8 minutes. This machine will get you in shape. However, it took my husband 3 hours to put it together. I am sure there are others who have put it together in less hours. But it was all worth the long wait. I rated this machine five stars because it is a good workout, it arrived in a timely manner, does not take up any room. Thank you Wal-Mart for great products and great service! Enjoy your hard workout people! ;)
I was a little overwhelmed when I pulled all of the parts and pieces out of the box at first. Once I got all of the pieces unwrapped and organized I pulled myself together and built this machine myself. It took me almost 4 hours so not too bad for a woman. Once I got it built I hopped on and I couldn't believe how nice and smooth this elliptical is. I am very pleased with it! Great looking sturdy machine for the price! I am going to love working out on this machine. I recommend it to everyone.
Good work, strong exercise. Hard to get in much time at first because it is so strenuous. Excellent value if trim, accessories, bells, and whistles are not big considerations. Assembled correctly without issues, except slow and difficult with the tools provided.
I bought this and a Gold's gym tread mill at the same time from Walmart online. The tread mill burns the cals faster. This Elliptical gives a good work out though. Works out the arms as well as the legs and knees. Takes me 30 min. to burn 100 Cals. on it. And it seems to be made well and not to heavy to move around. My husband put it together with no problems. Between this and my new tread mill and my hand weights I get a good work out each day. I manage to burn off 750 cals each day 6 days a week. I spend about an hour and a half working out in my home every day but Sunday. I started out with a fitness room in the apartment complex we lived in then moved to a house so had to choose between a gym membership or my own machines. I chose a mini home gym. I burn off the same amount of calories daily now as I did in the fitness room. I went on a healthy diet and began this 6 day a week work out a little over a year ago. I'm 56 years old and lost 40 pounds doing this. I now weigh 137 pounds and feel and look better than I have in years. But it was really hard. I won't lie. Hardest thing I ever did. It was easier to quit my 25 years smoking habit than it was to loose this weight. And now that I've done it I'm not about to let those pounds come back. Thats why I got my own gym at home to keep it off. Walmart has the best prices on gym machines. I know because I've researched. If they don't have what you want in your Walmart store then just have it sent there from their warehouses for free and go pick it up. What are you waiting for? Those pounds aint gonna do nothing but hang on by their claws till you do something about it. If I can do it.... any one can do it.
Sturdy and heavy-duty. Wasn't exactly what I expected because it seems to go down-hill. I expected the strides to be level and just rise and fall, but it seems to be high in the back and you step down-hill. My feet continually push toward the front and kind of squish my toes. I guess it gives extra resistance, and it sure makes my legs feel it!
I'm a 57 year old single lady that's pretty handy on my own. The left bolt that attaches the cycle gear to the peddle went in pretty easily but the right one is only going in half way and won't budge any further. It's possible that it stripped. The problem is, I will have to take it all apart and transport it back to Walmart to get it replaced. I had it delivered to my house because I don't have a large car. Frustrated.
The machine works well as far as I know--I've only used it once, so far. It supports up to 300 pounds which is good. I'm worried about the stability of the elliptical, however, since I had to put it together myself; the instructions were confusing and it is not easily assembled (as the box says); it took me about 3-4 hours to put this machine together and that's with following the instructions every step of the way--I'm not happy about that. On a more positive note, the display seems to work fine; it includes heart rate, mileage, speed, time and cals burned which is pretty awesome especially at the rollback price I bought this machine for. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend but only if they don't pay full price and get a professional to put the bike together for them.
This is probably a great product but when I received it and began putting it together we discovered there were two main pieces that were missing. I called the company in California and they said they were going to ship the missing parts, which were the two main upright poles. As of today I still have not received them. I am so disappointed with this product and especially this company for shipping out incomplete packages. It is so frustrating to have a half assembled elliptical in my in my floor taking up space and not being able to use it. I paid a lot of money for this and I am getting NO use of it. Wal Mart may want to reconsider their affiliation with this company. If I don't get my parts soon, I'm going to bring this mess to my local Wal Mart store and let you have it!!!!
We decided to give this elliptical a try based on half-bad and half-good reviews. I really wish we hadn't. The Good: Small, yet sturdy, doesn't take up much room. Ideal size for an apartment. The Bad: Horrible assembly. The bolts that connected the foot ends were stripped on arrival. I had to call someone with more muscle to come over to put it together and he even had some difficulty. The rest of the assembly was decent, no real issues, just a lot of screws. During use I found, like other buyers, that the foot pedals are at a horrible angle. This makes movement extremely choppy and uncomfortable on the knees and ankles which is what you DON'T want from an elliptical. I tried it out for a while, thinking that I would get used to it in time, but after a few weeks it was still the same. So we took it apart into more manageable pieces and returned it to the store for a full refund.
