Amazing for tarantulas 🕷️

I have a crested gecko and she likes it, while I love it. I love the look of this hide and feel that it uses some of the untapped vertical space. I see her on more than in it, but when I do see her inside it's a real treat and I take pictures (no flash!). She has lain eggs in it twice! So if that's important to you I highly recommend this, just remember to make it easy to pick up and examine. Soon I will be putting an all dark brown, large mopani log next to it when I upgrade to a bio-active vivarium. It looks gorgeous, as if the eggs were purposely lain against the wood for protection in some forest nook back in the time of the dinos. I'm excited to see if the isopods will hang out in there.

My leopard gecko loves climbing all over this hide. She pokes her head out of the top, will disappear for a few seconds, and poke back out at the bottom as if she's playing peek-a-boo. Plus, it adds a super unique element to the aesthetic of her tank.
