Okay, The Exorcist 2 is still an awful movie. It just happens to look a little better on Blu-ray. This set has the 102 minute and 117 minute cuts of the movie on two blu-rays. The picture looks much better than the DVD, but it's still not a great Blu-ray picture, not as crisp and clear as it should be. You have more extras with this set including commentaries with John Boorman, interview with Linda Blair and another commentary by Scott Bosco. If you have the dvd and it's not one of the Warner Brothers rotted DVDs, skip this release. Unless you're a completist and you need this for your collection. But you can definitely see that neither Blatty or Friedkin had anything to do with this movie. One of the high points is the music by Ennio Morricone. I got it because I'm a completist and for the music by Morricone.
