Exotac 005500ORG titanLIGHT Refillable Lighter, Orange

Bought the lighter for the outdoor, mainly for camping to start a fire for cooking. Haven't had the time to do that yet, but fueled it up and tried it out to see how it goes. Got a nice little steady flame and that gets extinguished quickly and completely by replacing the screw-on cap, which gave me a smooth rotation despite the material is made of aluminum. The lighter is a little bulkier to hold in a hand, but that is probably due to the fuel tank/chamber that accommodates a decent amount of the lighter fuel. The finish looks pretty for the color and texture, but very slippery for a very dry hand. Since it has an O-ring, the fuel might not be escaping from the camber easily if and only if it finds away to do so. I feel confident that it can last a very long time before next re-fueling it. Well made. It's made in the USA and by the folks who are proud of making the lighter and what they do, I bet. Otherwise, who can make a thing that good, eh?

Lighters of good quality.

Good for camping or survival but really hard on the finger when lighting, put a nice blister on the finger. Tried different flints but same results, wheel spins fine when flint is removed so I'm thinking the spring is too strong. I would not use as an everyday lighter. Also kinda pricey.
