Received well packaged, straight up, soil and plant were moist. Tree was 2 feet tall. No complaints. Grown in Florida I assume, that's where it shipped from. Hopefully it survives in Missouri.

This is the second set I order of these native plants. One came with some leaves brown, but overall health was good and it will survive and thrive. Price is the issue. Being a native plant and so easy to grow, they should make it more affordable so everybody chooses US native plants instead of invasive Asian species. It would help everybody and our environment too.

I open the box immediately when I received it. The tree did not arrived dead. I found a few leaves already dropped off. I found the potting soil was a quarter shy. Some roots were on top. Almost all the leaves had a thin white power like stuff. I tried to wipe them off, they stayed, washing did not help either. This is kind of fungus? Several leaves had brown bruise or cracks or dents. I had a two-gallon pot and tried to move the tree over. I found its roots had overgrown thru the draining holes, these seemed sort of broken off the ground they had crept into. I spend one hour using cutters to very carefully cut open the draining holes without hurting the roots. Now the tree still alive, but has not changed much. I have been hesitated not to ask a return right now. I would give one month to see if it has new leaves growing. If it is really going downward, I will ask a return. (By the way, the supporting bamboo pole's bottom was rotten and broken off. I removed it.)

ordered this tree with high hopes. Never received my tree and could not track my order. So after a week i requested a refund.
