I absolutely LOVE the double handle design on the Expert Gardener 2 gal. Resin Watering Can!! It's a total game-changer for me! The sturdy top handle allows for easy carrying, and the additional side handle makes it easy to balance the can for better control and less mess. It's particularly handy for watering hanging plants, and plants farther back in the garden, because better control makes it feel a little less heavy! Another handy feature of this sturdy watering can is the offset opening for convenient filling. I do wish the opening were a little larger, but it's not an issue for me. I chose this pretty green one, but it comes in a variety of bright colors to suit any gardening style! I received this product free for the purpose of my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Love it for everyday watering. The 2-gallon size holds plenty so I'm not constantly refilling, but it still feels manageable to carry. The handle is comfortable, the spout pours smoothly without splashing, and it's easy to control the flow for both small pots and larger plants. The resin feels sturdy and durable, and I like that it's lightweight for the capacity. It also stores easily in the garage or shed without taking up much space. Overall, a simple, well-made watering can that does exactly what you need.
I just love the color of this watering can. So far it has held up to me watering plants and my chickens when it was freezing weather. The spout spreads the water out wonderful. It seems to be built to last longer than 1 spring and it hold just enough water that I don't struggle to carry. All in all it's amazing and I look forward to using it during the blooming season.
This watering can is really nice. It is big enough to where I only have to make three trips to my garden area. I love the color. I don't see any leaks, and it fits perfectly in my sink, which is nice because I was a little bit worried about it. It's funny. My dog now knows whenever I grab it that we're going outside to water the flowers. She gets really excited, runs for the door, and then heads straight to the flowers and waters with me every night. I guess I got a good color.
This is the perfect size for watering flowers or veggies that you have growing in planter pots. It can hold Oliver two gallons of water, although I will probably only fill it part way full, so it will not be as heavy to carry around. The pour spout has small holes so that the water comes out in fine sprinkles and not a deluge onto the delicate plants you are watering. It comes in several colors, and this is kind of a rose color that shows up easily , making it stand out if you are looking to see where you put it last.
Saw this bright yellow watering can at the store and wanted it! But I forgot to go back and put it in my cart so I ordered it online. It's sooo cute and the opening is offset so it's much easier to fill it without getting wet. The bright yellow color matches my sun umbrella and all my flowers! Sure brightens my day!
Classic plastic watering can. The plastic has sharp edges where you pour the water into, so I'm not the biggest fan of that. The spout seems fragile. It you knock it the right way, it could break. You definitely could not leave this outside during winter, as I would be afraid the plastic could crack. All in all, I think this is ok for someone with a very small garden and who has indoor storage for garden tools. This would probably be good for someone with an indoor garden or plants.
The watering can is a bit cheap. The plastic that it's made out of is thin. The color is pretty though. It holds a good amount of water. It does leak at the connection where the watering head is. It leaks everywhere. So not good for indoor plants. I did fix it with some gorilla glue paste.
It's all fine BUT about 2/3 of the holes were not fully formed. I had to get a drill and open them up. Easy enough to do - took me about a minute - but pretty lame that I'd have to do it at all. So I recommend it, but only if you don't mind doing some work.
I enjoy having the larger 2gal option but I bought two of them %26 both have terrible spouts. The water doesn't sprinkle out on my seedlings but pours out in a massive stream which beats the life out of delicate starts. I would only recommend this for established plants that can take a beating.
