Portulaca 's are one of my favorite plants. They grow flowers all the time throughout the summer.

I'm very happy with my portulaca plants. They arrived very healthy with strong root systems and covered in blooms. I couldn't ask for better.

They're not always delivered in the best condition, but they seem to be growing well. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, especially for the price.

I ordered 6 4 -packs of the moss rose for delivery from the Walmart on mullan road in Missoula. these poor plants have obviously not been but very minimally cared for. One 4 pack was relatively healthy. of the other 5 4 packs, 3 of the plants in one pack had to be thrown away because they were flat, moldy, root bound and dried out. I kept one plant from that pack to try to revive it. 2 other 4 packs, all the plants are root bound, dry and floppy. I put those two packs in my greenhouse and will repot them to see if I can save them. the remaining 4-packs were also root bound and a bit floppy, with dead and broken stems, and not healthy looking at all. I cleaned them up as best I could and will work on reviving those, as well. the very nice delivery lady warned me that she had been told in the garden center that caterpillars like to hide in the moss rose. indeed they do! there was a hornworm sitting right on top of one of them when we looked into the bag. I didn't find any more than just the one, thank goodness. I'm concerned there may be eggs in the putting soil waiting to hatch, though . if I didn't live 28 miles from town, I would have taken these plants back for a refund. and will definitely not order them sight unseen again.
