Expert Gardener 43" Black & Yellow Weeder for Taproot Plants

Haven't used this Weeder yet, but I was impressed with the bulk and potential of this new tool. My plans are to use this in removing all the roots and vines from a huge area that has ground Ivy growing in it. I'm confident this tool is going to be useful

This is impressive but came with no instructions so I'm not sure exactly how to use it. Think I stab it next to a weed and twist.....? I'll have to try it and also will see if I can find some directions on Google. Unfortunately we have snow on the ground so I won't be using it soon. But spring is coming!

I love this weeder! The huge weeds are no match for this weeder - I just put the weeder on top of the weed, tap on the foot bar to dig if needed and twist and dispose the weed from the top plug. Very solid and made of heavy metal - I am happy with this weeder! Great price too from Walmart!

Expert Gardener Weeder-Black &Yellow 43.7 inch use for Taproot Plants. This weeder is great for anyone with back, knee or hip issues because you safely remove weeds with bending or getting on your knees. It is a simple process of inserting the aerated blades into the ground over the weed, turning and them pulling up. On the top of the handle there is a plunger and when you push that down it removes the weed. This product has rubberized griping handles to safe use and a platform to step on the push the weeder deep into the ground. Everything about this product sturdy to allow for long term use. Overall great addition to my outdoor tool collection.

WOW - this is beyond sturdy - 5 year warranty! We are under a foot of snow so won't be using till spring but this weeder is like nothing I've ever seen. I've had several that break after a few uses - flimsy, weak materials used. This one is gonna be a lifetime helper for those like me that can't get down on my hands and knees to pull the weeds.

I was in need of a gardening tool that would make pulling weeds easier. I found it in this Expert Gardener welder. It is well made of heavy steel & is very sturdy. I won't be breaking my back bending to pull weeds since this tool is 43.7” high. Perfect. The design of the weed cutters is better than I expected. Since they are a thicker design & attached right to the tool, they can't fall out like other brands that use long nail-like spikes that fall out during use. I am so glad to add this weeded to my collection of gardening tools. I can now look forward to weeding come summer since this tool will make it so much easier.

Love this product! Great for older people or someone with back problems, No bending over to pull weeds! The easiest way to get weeds out by the roots so they won't return! Lightweight and very easy to use! Just push into the weed and turn, easy, anyone could use! Stubborn weeds are no match for this weeder! Would definitely recommend this product!

Very nice and sturdy but might be better for big weeds because on little weeds it takes out too much dirt.

No more bending over to pull out weeds with tap roots or so I had hoped. Very straightforward – push down, rotate, pull out, and use the plunger on top to push weed and soil off the blades. Unfortunately or fortunately the weeds I have do not have substantial tap roots and most of the time, just fall off on their own. I still have to reach down and pick up the weed and shake the dirt back in the hole. It is a very well-made tool with no plastic on the essential parts.

Downrated for lack of instruction sheet. Although I have been gardening all my life, it's not clear to me how this tool operates. There's a small piston-like piece that comes down between the prongs when I press on the yellow handle. How does that eliminate taproots? By squashing them? And where are the larger and smaller openings in the yellow piece to be placed? No doubt, someone who has used this tool find it easy, but they aren't here. There's not even a phone number to call. The whole tool is metal, so it should stand up to hard use, if I can figure out how to use it.
