This landscape edging has honestly made a huge difference in the overall look of my backyard, especially since I'm currently in the middle of a remodel. Before installing it, everything felt a bit unfinished and messy, but adding this edging instantly gave the space a cleaner, more intentional look. It really helps define my garden bed and makes the yard look more polished without needing a full overhaul. Also, installation was surprisingly easy! I'm not a professional by any means, and we had no issues getting it set up. The edging was flexible enough to shape the curve I wanted, and the stakes held everything securely in place. The edging has already been through winter weather, and it's held up really well so far, which was something I was a little worried about with plastic edging. Honestly, this was such a simple upgrade, but it made a noticeable impact on how my backyard looks. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for an easy way to make your outdoor space feel more put together without a ton of effort or cost!
While we dont have it completely permanently set up as we are still deciding the garden area for next season, this came packaged nicely, it was very easy to assemble and the quality is very nice. I can't wait to start planting in the spring! Its very easy you just make a little trench and put it in the ground!
I used this edging to create a clean line between my lawn and a new mulch bed, and the result looks much more "finished" than standard flat plastic. The most important tip I can give is to unroll the edging and let it lay flat in the sun for about 30 minutes before you start. This softens the plastic, making it way easier to work with. I used a spade to create a small trench first, which made sliding the 5-inch depth into the ground a breeze. The wood grain finish is a nice touch… it's subtle but gives it a matte look that doesn't look like cheap, shiny plastic. The included stakes are sturdy enough for standard soil. If you have very clay heavy or rocky ground, just be patient so you don't snap them.
Sturdy already assembled with the exception of placing the securing stakes to hold edging in place low/no maintenance edging. This edging has a faux wood grain finish on it and is light weight to move around to put in place. It does come coiled up in the box - I found that if you just unravel and place stretched out for a little bit it is easier to put in your desired place whether around a garden bed or tree..
I used this for my front garden and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to assemble, and the plastic feels sturdy yet flexible, making it simple to shape and fit around my garden layout. It looks great once installed, and I plan to buy more to finish the rest of my garden. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.
This was well packaged, and felt high quality when I opened it. The edging is attractive and the color is beautiful. Laying it out was easy by myself. The only trouble I had was with the ground spike spacing. It felt like one more spike would have been easier. But once it was in, it was sturdy. I'm using it against a raised concrete patio to make a flower bed. It already looks better even before I add flowers. I will buy again.
I received this product complimentary from Influenster and expert gardener in exchange for my honest review. This was enough to cover 1 large tree. The stakes provided help holding it down but we have large tree roots so it doesn't work well for us. Good for smaller trees
This product came compactly packaged, which I can appreciate, however the curling of the entire 20 feet together makes it difficult to straighten the product out for long areas of landscaping that have a straight edge. Over the years, I've redone two full front landscaping areas and used different types of edging for both - plastic individual pieces and stones. Because neither were foolproof, I was excited to give this a try. Admittedly, I cannot install it right now, because I received it in the middle of winter in the Northeast, but I can already determine some issues. For twenty feet in length, the edging only comes with 5 stakes, recommended to be spaced out every 4 feet, unless going around curves, then every two. Right away, we are already at a disadvantage if we have even one curve. Also, the stakes hook onto the edging, rather than being attached, which seems like an issue to me. With the height of the edging being pretty tall, the stakes are only a couple inches longer and don't seem like they will provide enough support. All in all, if you were doing curves edging to make a circle around a tree or something, this edging would probably work find, but with the way the stakes work and how few there are, I don't think this would be ideal for a large-scale project.
Who does the picking for orders? Do they NOT see that one is not the same as the other? I just received this and one prdt has the stakes and the other was clearly snipped away (possibly a return, but where is quality control?) Prices continue to go up and quality slides WAY down!
Seller sent me 6 of the edging with at least 10 stakes missing. Poorly packaged, the thin box was already ripped open with holes when it was delivered so maybe the stakes fell out, but still very frustrating to receive multiple items missing parts necessary to use them.
