Expert Gardener Dormant Packaged Garden Rose Live Shrub, Assorted, 1 Plant

I'm just going to say that I have no idea what's going on with these reviews I think maybe some people don't know what they're doing with roses or they bought them too late in a year. I grow a lot of roses and we spend quite a bit of money on expensive rose bushes. We had another expensive Rose die in this one spot and we needed an affordable Rose to put there and I had Walmart cash and I put this Rose there it's called rotary red and this was a random color that they pick for you. This thing's doing really, really well in my yard right now in September and this was purchased in June. When you get these roses you need to make sure to soak them for at least 12-24 hours and this rose I soaked for longer since I got busy. We usually treat our roses will sprinkle rooting powder on them and plant them I didn't even do that with this rose and the thing super happy. We use the "Bayer Rose Care" granules on roses and we have amazing plants. The leaves on this thing are glossy it's amazing looking hopefully with straw it will make it this winter 🤷 I have it in a difficult spot. These roses there's nothing wrong with them they're a cheap grafted rose. I have at least fifty roses and there is nothing wrong with this rose. Only thing you need to be concerned about is if you get it and it's in horrible condition and you get a delivery... like a lot of these people do then get a hold of Walmart and they'll give you a refund. These roses are random if you order them online they're going to give you the colors that they have. With these kind of roses from big box stores they may not be appropriate for your growing zone as I learned. Mine for example might not live through my winter here in North Idaho and growing in pots for some and overwintering inside is an option. I'm so glad that I was able to get an affordable rose as a replacement for a spot where two 70 $ roses died. This one seems great and it's not one of my fancy roses and it may not be growing zone appropriate but I'm hoping it will make it through the winter. Keep in mind that there is big money in roses right now and don't believe all of the negative hoopla on here at all. When these come back in stock and you would like to get a cheap rose get one. Thanks Walmart for carrying these and please continue to have growers work with you to get nice bare roots affordable in your customers love them. If you love roses and want to such to budget Walmart had thus rose and some bloomables ones etc. that are pretty great and better homes and gardens roses. A better homes one I brought and a convert give David Austin a run for their money and blend in amazing in my cottage garden. Best of luck 🌹

I'm new to roses, and had no idea what I was doing... I started off by planting late for the season, not realizing these were bare root, didn't soak before planting, accidentally broke one of the main canes, then learned I planted them way too shallow just as the roots were developing and had to dig them up and replant them. ...I didn't have the highest hopes for these. After correcting their planted depth, I've maintained consistent watering and feed them twice a month. All three plants are not only alive but producing beautiful foliage and the first round of blooms are healthy and beautiful! The first one opened today! I would definitely recommend these plants. I did everything I could to stack the deck against them and yet they thrive beautifully!

I was actually hoping to receive an assortment of colors, not all four of the same color. White was not even in the colors shown when ordering. The plants look healthy. I’m sure they will be absolutely beautiful, but again, since I was unable to actually select a color when ordering, I was hoping for some of the colors in the ad.

My Rose arrived today 5-21-2026 in Great Condition! Beautiful Green leaves, Soil was still moist, and it was Packaged and Handled well! I am greatly well pleased! Thank you Walmart! -Helen Harris

was not the correct roses I saw pictured. What I got are all one color.Must have replaced the 4 I needed. I was to get mulit color roses in yellow packaging. I got 4 black cartens.

I ordered a pink and orange rose but received a white one, my least favorite for roses. It was bone dry upon arrival. It does have great stalks.. Went from excitement to disappointment real quick

Do not waste your money! This came as a dark brown stick in some very hard soil around it. You could tell by first sight there was no life there. I tried planting in hopes I was wrong, but it never grew a single leaf. Don't waste your money!

Been in the ground near the Jackson nd Perkins don jun, which is thriving Md planted 10 days after this rose. This Walmart thing is doing nothing. So, I called and AI bot responded. I asked or live person but would not put me thru. Tried the refund process and bot Sid don't dig it up yet. Then it gave me a $5.35 refund for the bag of dirt I ordered.

what was delivered wasn't what shows in the picture. looks dead and dirt was so dry as if it hasn't seen water in 3 years. this could be normal so i planted it to see what will happen. ive bought some from sams club and didn't look like this so im not so sure if it will grow

Purchased this one and a true blooms branded one on the same day. From the beginning this one looked less "vibrant" %26 healthy. I planted them and within a week this one died. the true blooms one has buds on it already. I'd say with that side-by-side comparison this rose is poor quality or won't transplant.
