I mean it's a rake, y'all. What's not to like? Except now you got a rake so the wife can say, Ed, you really ought to rake the leaves this afternoon even though you've been waiting all week for the Dallas Cowboys to knock off them New York Jets instead of lose another one. But since she asks you do it and maybe record the game for later which is ok just not the same as it is when you're watching her live and want the game to come back after each commercial and it feels more exciting that way specially when the Cowboys are ahead but Willa roots for the Jets so beating them feels sweeter somehow but I don't say that to her, just look sorry that her team got whooped. But when you're outside raking leaves that's not so bad because you can think about the game as a reward for your hard work and then you realize you don't have any leaf bags so you got to go get some and if the wind blows while you're gone you have to start over.
wish it was just a few inches wider. but for the price it'll suffice for what I need it for. didn't really put it through its paces yet and mostly needed to rake up a stone ramp for a mobility scooter. handle feels extremely lightweight and unsure if it's natural wood or something man-made. I'm sure how the handle will last or how well the head of the rake will stay on the handle. Time will tell but for the price I took the risk
well made %26 heavy duty, this rake should last a long time. the tines are thick and well made exactly what I needed to till the top soil.. best price I could find online.. this isn't a leaf type rake , more for tilling and raking out weeds or sticks from your garden. good for spreading mulch or soil as well..
I have been hacking back a severely overgrown yard. And hacking is only half the battle. You also need to rake them up. And this did the job excellently.
I was surprised by the quality of this rake. I was expecting something that was cheap. However, this was not. I would buy this again. I would recommend this to others too.
All In all… not a bad rake for $10.00 bucks HOWEVER… the rake head is POORLY ATTACHED to it's supplied wooden handle with nothing more than a cheap rivet….just drill it out and place a bolt ant Nut through the rivet hole, tighten up and your good to go for many years to come.
The rake arrived and is easy to use, however, the handle is not securely connected to the fork. It moves around and I concerned that it will break off,
Worst garden rake I've ever used. Broke in first 10 seconds literally. I was just raking around bush. A single vine made it brake. Or I should say very poor design and workmanship made it brake. Had this delivered with soil to save time. Now I have to go in anyhow and deal with a return. Tried to supply photos. Says all the photos are too large. Go figure.
I'm sorry to leave a bad review but unfortunately this rake broke during the first time it was used. The welding that holds the rake's head to the metal frame simply snapped. Very bad build quality.
I raked mulch twice and this take worked fine. I was raking some dead grass and a few leaves from front yard and the metal frame broke off from the tine section. The two parts appeared to be riveted together and broke at that point.
