Expert Gardener Hosta Minuteman Dormant Bare Roots - Set of 2, Multi-Color, Full Shade Perennial

I'm not a gardening expert so I buy these because i know them to be attractive dependable perennials. These from Walmart are as good as any I have bought anywhere else and they arrived promptly and in good shape. They are growing fine in my containers and i know they will look even better next year.

I was skeptical when I took these out of the bags but got them planted in good soil, watered them well, and put them under my patio cover and all of them have bloomed. I ordered 3 bags (6 plants) and they are doing quite well. Great price!

this is my first time buying these. i bought 3 packs. the packages have 2 roots tied together with a rubber band. they are already sprouting. large roots.

They were already beginning to sprout when I got them, so I unfolded the roots and put them in a tumbler of water for a couple of days before planting them. Since then, they have really taken off and they're growing beautifully. I'm going to order more of them.

My daughter dig the holes and we planted all 10 of them. They're still not growing. They're in a shaded place and I let the rain water them. I'll just wait to see if they come up by the end of next month. I'm hoping they survive. I've never had any problems with Hostas.

I planted as instructed. I thought the bulbs looked very brittle, however, they were supposedly dormant so I planted as instructed. 6 weeks later, absolutely nothing, nodda. it was dormant alright. Just kinda sucks I was looking forward to seeing them grow.

i purchased these online, when i received them they were dried out completely. i planted them hoping the fresh damp soil would bring them back to life . several weeks later there was still no activity on the top so i dug down a bit to find them in the same shape i recieved them despite watering them every few days. wasted my time and money

I said I wasn't buying plants from this brand anymore , but I figured hostas would be hard to mess up . WRONG… plants come looking dead and stay dead, I've tried 5 or so different plants and they all were dead and continued….so sad for such a good price… but you get what you pay for I guess. Well in this case you don't get what you pay for 🤦🏻‍♀️

These Hosta Roots are DEAD!!!! I ordered another pack earlier today and it was missing one root so I decided to try again and this pack is dried out and dead. Walmart and Expert Gardener please do better!!!

I followed all instructions, water correctly, all 4 I bought rot in soil. This is not the first time I buy bare roots from Walmart and failed miserably. When I buy bare roots from other places they sprout fine.
