Durable, Comfortable Gloves for Gardening %26 Yard Work I've been using these gloves for planting, yard work, and general outdoor tasks, and they've held up really well. The leather palm provides good protection and grip, while still allowing enough flexibility to handle tools, soil, and plants comfortably. They fit true to size and feel secure at the wrist, which helps keep dirt out during longer gardening sessions. I like that they're sturdy enough for tougher jobs but not overly stiff, so they're comfortable to wear for extended periods. Great value for everyday gardening and work use. I'd definitely buy these again.
What I am using these for is kind of “different.” I needed new oven mitts and the price of just 1 mitt, such cheap materials that they are made from, and really don't insulate your fingers long, surprised me. So on a hunch I looked up these gardener gloves to see what the price is. Well, $2.50 for the pair, that'll protect my hands much better than cheaply made oven mitts, to me, was a no brainer. The fingers and palms are leather. I will just use this pair for kitchen purposes and continue using my other pair for DIY “dirty” projects.
These are the only garden gloves I've used for years. They're too long in the fingers, but they keep my hands safe. Highly recommend especially based on the price!
good quality gloves for the price. Have used them for over a month with no signs of tearing and work well with cutting branches from my trees in my yard.
A must if you are a gardener. My mom planted these spiky trees and you'd seriously get impaled if you handle them without protection. These gloves are inexpensive and offer some pretty good protection for your hands. They are men's size so the will fit a woman's hands loose but it's still a good buy. The only cons I have are that one glove arrived stiff and the other was very soft like it had been washed or something (see photos). The soft glove offers less protection than the stiff one. Also, the back of the gloves have a decorative fabric area that offers no protection for the back of your hands (spiky plants will poke through that part of the glove).
Have purchased numerous times. Best price and are great on stopping those awful thorns and prickly weeds.
Thick gloves and caught on sale for very low price. Had a pair of these before and needed a second pair.
I have been a big fan of these gloves and the price was right on this purchase!
These are awesome and you cannot beat the price!!
I've bought these leather work gloves for years because they were inexpensive and were good for basic yardwork. However, over the years, the price has increased but the quality and thickness of the leather has not. The latest pair I recently bought have thinner leather and padding and one of the gloves had a small hole on the palm. These gloves are for basic yard work, like mowing, picking up brush, and weeding, but they don't last for more than a few seasons. Also, if they get wet, the leather gets super stiff and the threading in the cuffs loosens and eventually comes apart.
