Keeps the germs out and easy to put on. We got them because there was not other kinds of gloves for the covid19 and they work well. Yet we can use them as we do theyard as well.
I currently use nitrile dipped work gloves in my garden and other areas of my yard, and find that they stand up well and are long lasting. As you can see in the picture, they are a little large on my hands, but when I am working with metal I will use them over another pair for added protection. The description of these gloves indicates that 3 pair in different colors will be sent. I received this pair in today's mail and there was just 1 pair in the package. I felt that I should mention this to Walmart.
These gloves are made of knitted polyesters, and the palm side is coated with nitrile. Nitrile is a material much stronger than vinyl or latex, and is chemical resistant. I used to use disposable vinyl gloves in the garden. I often found them torn, and my hands dirty and sweaty. This is the first time I saw this type of gloves. The gloves are breathable. I can wear these in my garden for extended periods without feeling sweaty. Size L fits me perfectly. The nitrile coating provides a non-slip surface, so that I can grip on things. These are washable by hand and can be air-dried. These gloves are made for use in the garden. They are chemical resistant, and when they get dirty, they can be cleaned by washing with soap and reused. As they have a non-slip surface, they are also suitable for moving heavy objects like boxes, flower pots, etc. In mild winter, they can be used in driving a car. They are thinner than leather gloves, and provide a good grip and better feel on the driving wheel. They should be even safer to use in driving a car than leather gloves. Another use is in shoveling snow. Their use can be endless.
Design and quality of these gloves is very good. Specifically they were used for pulling weeds with ease and no pain to fingers during use. Also, they provided substantial gripping power while holding tools for the trimming of some small branches in my yard. Would love to have more of these gloves around the house. I have a feeling they would be useful for anyone who does crafts for opening jars and such. These gloves are very comfortable. They were not too loose or too tight.
I got these for my husband. He likes to do gardening and outdoor work. He likes the tight fit and that they have a good grip. With the rain in Florida, its good to have waterproof gloves. They also have an elastic band around the wrist preventing dirt and other debris from entering the gloves. We haven't had them long so I am hoping they last a while.
These gloves are super grippy and I'll probably use them for more precision work than just digging into garden dirt. They will be ideal for handling garden tools (or any tools) when some hand protection is needed. They are not waterproof, so that limits some applications, but they seem tough enough for those sunny day chores. And having a good grip on a power tool on a hot summer day can be important.
These Vulcan Bros by Holly Gloves are really unique. I tried to show in my picture that the tops of these gloves have a mesh section while the bottoms of the gloves have a rubber-like section. The mesh is stretchy and keeps the gloves from feeling hot while you wear them. The rubber section helps you to grip things better. I wore them to do garden work and found them to be very comfortable. I have the men's size large and they fit me well. I normally take a large in women's gloves and I wear a size 8 on my ring finger, if that helps you to gauge your size.
Good quality gloves and an real bargain. Cheap ones usually last no time at all but these are as rugged as much more expensive examples and having so many means I'v always got a dry pair.
Cheap, good griping, and used for camping out.
These are great, light-duty gloves. I got them on clearance, so I love them extra.
