Got a pair of these for my wife. She says they are very comfortable and keep her hands from getting ripped up. We work together to move some of the bushes and they were a great. They are not bulky so that you can feel what you are working with better than regular leather gloves. Works great for splitting plants and shovel work.
They are sturdy yet flexible and comfortable with an adjustable velcro strap that you can snugly attach making it nice in keeping dirt from entering glove. I am hard on my garden gloves and they're holding up extremely well so far. Though I do use an all-leather glove for thorns and clipping larger branches, these Catcus print utility gloves are perfect for planting my seasonal flowers. Love the extra "pads" on the thumb and forefinger that provide durability yet still allows me to grip well on the small stuff like weed sprouts and twigs.
These gloves fit amazing and are so comfortable! They fit to where you don't even realize they are on. most of the gloves I have are cumbersome and hard to grip things or they are too tight to where they don't feel comfortable and these gloves are neither. they are perfect! They have a Velcro closure on your wrist as well as the palm of the glove being made of leather type material which keeps your hand protected from thorns. They even have touchscreen capabilities, so you don't have to unstrap it to answer your phone. They are so comfortable I would recommend them!
Very cute gloves. I won't have to worry about my husband stealing these. I got a small but they are a little tight because I have long fingers. They seem to be fairly sturdy and worked great at protecting my hands while cleaning yard debris after a wind storm. I am looking forward to using these come spring time when I plant flowers and prep the yard.
Once these arrived and I was able to look them over, I had to hand them over. All in all you can't beat these for a light utility glove for outdoor tasks. I thought that they looked fine and the Mrs approved to the point that she pitched in and helped me clean up the front flower beds. The leaves in the picture are gone and her hands are happy and soft with no sore spots!! Win win.
my hands aren't particularly large but I do have wide fingers. I bought these in a medium. other than one scratch from my Blackberry brambles that I was pruning I didn't have any issues as compared to going without them and having multiple embedded Thorns scratches Etc. comfortable and stay closed.
This is a high dexterity performance glove that has such a pretty look with the brightly colored growing succulents imprinted on the front. I love that it has a hook and loop wrist closure for a nice snug fit. The weeds can be very stickly and long, and the neoprene wrist and knuckle strap gives a nice protection to the hands. I can cut my roses to display in the house, without worrying about the thorns burring into my glove and hands. I also did notice when weeding around the house, these gloves are touchscreen compatible. I don’t have to take my gloves off and stop doing my chores just because the phone rings. All I did was use my index finger or thumb and it worked perfectly. It helps when pushing the lawn mower to protect my hands because of the synthetic leather palm, but they still have a breathable spandex back. They are also great when weeding out the vegetable garden. I love that these gloves have all these great features rolled into one glove at an affordable price. These would also make a great gift for the expert gardener.
I really like these cute work gloves with their cactus motif. They are light to wear and they fit my hands well with the adjustable wrist strap. I used them for the first time picking up wood. They protected my hands well. The only con that I foresee is when I use them to work in my garden. I don't think they are water and mud proof.
These gloves from Expert Gardener are super comfortable. I have small hands and sometimes have trouble finding gloves that fit well. These gloves fit good. I like the added hook and loop strap closure. It definitely helps me maintain a proper fit. I really like the blooming cactus design. It's simple but still very pretty. Almost to pretty to get dirty. I haven't been able to find anything on these gloves stating whether they are washable. I sometimes have to pull out poison ivy and being able to wash them would be a plus for me. I do like that these gloves are touchscreen capable. These gloves are lightweight enough to work with but still heavy enough to protect your hands. Its nice to find a happy medium between the two.
These look cute, but that's not the function of garden gloves! Fit is fine. Don't really see the need for the phone fingers as the index finger is the primary finger I use with the middle finger to weed my flower beds and in between the pavers near my front door. I've used them 3-4 times already and you can see that they're already showing significant wear. IMO $12 for cute vs function isn't worth it. For that price I'd rather have function!
