They're the perfect length and sturdy, for the price I was very surprised. Be sure to soak them in hot broth or hot water and lightly grease them first to make removing the meats easier, that way they swell before you cook them.

I used these for many things! Cooking/crafting… you name it! They are sturdy and durable. I was really impressed by these for the price! You don’t get what you pay for, you get more with these in my personal opinion. I don’t really purchase any other brand now and with summer coming up, I just restocked. Kabobs of all kinds are a favorite in my home during the summer!

I buy these bamboo skewers mostly to use on my flower collection, as support guides and also to tell the water level in the pots. I stick one in the soil, wait 30 minutes and take it out - it will show the dampness. These are quality, They are uniformly straight and smooth, and good for use in making kabobs. The price is great too.

with a piece of corrugated cardboard and a bunch of these skewers you can make one of those new orange tools that mark your flooring so you can cut out the exact thing to slide around the door jambs etc just slide them through the holes in the cardboard and then push it against your object and it makes it perfect imprint

My grandson’s High School graduation party was amazing! We had a barbecue with shish kabobs. I used these Bamboo Skewers and they worked perfectly. I really like the Bamboo Skewers because they are so inexpensive, there are 100 in each package! Plus cleanup is so easy, just throw away! They are 12.25 inches long, which means I had a lot of room to place my meat and vegetables. Before I used them I soaked the Skewers in water. It’s very important to do this, to prevent the wooden skewers from burning on my grill. I used a long pan and made sure all of the Skewers were covered in water. I let them soak for 20 minutes. For a wonderful flavor variation I soaked some Skewers in grape juice and some in red wine, and prepared my shish kabobs. I alternated meat and vegetables, and also only veggies for my vegetarian niece. I placed the Skewers on the grill, leaving enough room in between each to cook throughout. The veggies did not take as long to cook as the Skewers with meat. I wanted to continue my shish kabob theme with dessert and prepared pineapple chunks on the Skewers and put them on the grill. The pineapple grilled nicely and didn’t take too long. I also make strawberry and shortcake Skewers. I continued using the Skewers from the water bath for my desserts. When I had used as many Skewers as I needed, I simply took the remaining out of the water and placed them in a sealable plastic bag and put them in the freezer. They will be ready to use the next time I want to prepare shish kabobs, with no water bath needed. I also have another use for my Bamboo Skewers in my sewing and craft room. They are perfect when trying to stuff a pillow or small toy to poke the stuffing into the corners or tiny notches of the item I am making. I also use them if I am turning a small piece of fabric inside out. The Skewers are slim and have a pointy end as well as a flat end. I really appreciate it when an item has more than one use, like these Bamboo Skewers.

I recently got these Expert Grill 12 Natural Bamboo Skewers for Grilling , 100 Count to use on my grill. I enjoy making shish kebabs, both vegetable and fruit, and needed a bunch of these. I like to make small pieces, so these are just the perfect size to use for that. These measure 11.8 inches so you can put a variety of pieces on each one. They are made from 100% bamboo which is strong and durable. These skewers have one sharpened end to pierce the food pieces and hold them in place while they are being cooked. They are simple to use. You just soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before you put the food pieces on them and put them on a grill. You really need to keep the exposed tips from coming into contact with the high heat to prevent them from burning. you should hand wash any uncharred skewers and you can use them again and again. If any are damaged or burned, you need to throw them away. They also work great for arts, crafts, and home repair projects, so they are great to have around! I recommend these to my family and friends.

I’m giving it a Four because they were breaking and splintering which may have been user error because I used these with my nephews after trial and error the supplied cake pops and rice krispy treats came out great and held up but the flimsiness of them was a no for me

First of all, these things are long and super thin. You have to be mindful of the weight of things going on the skewers and make sure that items are evenly dispensed over the skewers so as not to snap them. I can only see these for grilling meat or vegetables. I wouldn’t use them for anything else like say cake pops or things to that effect. I would imagine that you would have to cut them in order to make them a proper size for all of that. The question then would be would it weaken the skewers if you did cut them. At first glance I didn’t think there was a hundred of them, but that is because they are so thin. I will continue to use them for grilling. I don’t think I will be going through them really fast since there are so many of them. I am also going to experiment with them for baking as well. I hope they will hold up well. I might possibly use them for arts and crafts projects with kid. In the end I think there will be multiple uses for these providing that there are strong enough.

These served my purpose! Fit a good amount of meat and vegetables for kabobs. They did not splinter. The only drawback is; kabob sticks placed directly on the grill tend to burn making them more difficult to turn and remove. That is my reason for 4 stars. But still a great buy!

The worse customer service ever, also very lengthy wait time. The gentleman doing the pick up service name Juan has pathetic customer service and he was very rude to myself and staff members. I barely received the items that were included in my order. A few things were missing .
