Expert Grill 22-Inch Charcoal Grill

Here's the thing. We do not have alot of money to spend. So for $40.00 which included $4.00 for a 2 yr warranty this is a great charcoal grill. My partner says the directions were very clear and easy to understand. This is a bare bones basic grill but that is just fine. Also we received free delivery $35.00 minimum which is why I added the $4.00 for the warranty. Looking forward to many great meals.

I purchased this grill instead of the cheaper 17.5 inch version because it has an additional mounted rack built in for veggies or other items you don't want directly on the fire. It was easy for my bf to put together however be sure you pay attention to the instruction when you assemble the legs. The wheels go towards the back. I'm really happy with this purchase. I was able to cook a slab of baby back ribs, 4 beef burgers, 4 turkey burgers plus 4 ears of corn, zucchini cut in 4 slices and a few bell peppers on the top rack all at once. Definitely gives they great BBQ coal taste I was missing. I've been using a electric grill for years but this is perfect for my recently purchased townhome with backyard. There were a bunch of these already assembled in the garden center at Wal-Mart but they were dusty and not very sturdy.

This is my second grill that I have purchased. The first one had the old branding on it (Backyard Grill), but for the money, it gets the job DONE! I have no complaints. It is an old school grill, and with the proper care and maintenance, this thing will last you a LIFETIME! I even sprung for the Expert Grill branded cooking utensils, (They were ONLY .88c each, so I've got all I need to get this summer POPPIN'!

I was reluctant to buy this item due to a few negative comments. I decided to take a chance and I was greatly relieved and ultimately surprised of how easy it was to put it together. Props to the manufacturer for the easy to follow instructions.

I purchased this item for a family member's new home gift. They are a young family who finally have a back yard to bbq and have people over. They like it a lot.

Just put this together....have common sense and carefully read he intructions, pay attention and you will not have any issues putting this together. It was not dented at all, 2 of the predrilled holes were a little narrow so I had to screw them in vs just placing them in......but seriously........it's not a big deal at all, !! It's a $35 grill with a lot of surface space and it took less than an hour to build and all the hardware was separated into little groups labeled with the corresponding step, I mean seriously, it was a piece of cake! If you are on a budget and would rather spend your extra money of other things or can not afford to pay a bunch of money for a grill give this one a chance. It's definitely not fair to compare this to a high end charcoal grill and honestly foolish. It's a super inexpensive grill from Walmart, have realistic expectations but expect to be pleasantly surprised with the quality.

This grill is definitely worth the money. I've grilled out on it twice since I got it and it gets the job done. So much space plus it has the top rack. For $35, you can't beat it. The only reason I took off a star was because assembly was more difficult than it should have been. I got it together, but the pictures were not very good, and too small for my old eyes. Overall, It took me longer than expected because of the poor pictures and lack of direction. It would also be nice if they actually gave you some small tools to help out as I've seen in other kits, but that's really not a huge deal. I do enjoy it now that it's together. I also invested in the grill cover that you can buy separately. It's thin, but it's only $4, so why not?

I ordered this online for in store pickup. After my local Walmart(Beaufort, SC) had decided to track me down a boxed version of this as opposed to the filthy and scratched one theyd lifted from the patio I was on my merry way home. Upon returning home and unboxing this I was very hopeful and pleased with my purchase for about 1minute. After this I discovered that actually these feelings were misplaced, as black flakes began to cover the floor - the bbq had in fact been dented with finishing flaking off all over. The lids barely fit together, its safe to say theyll be billowing out smoke. There's no chance at controlling airflow, as the vents are poorly fitting and finished, meaning theyre either wobbling and hanging off or theyre stationary and immovable without a screwdriver. The overall finish of this bbq is terrible, I guess I just expected more, I paid $35, I expected basic no frills, I received poor quality, badly finished and damaged, to the point that the lid is so wonky it is frilly! Granted its a great size bbq, and I'd get over the fact theres no ashcan etc and the vents are pretty poor, but the general quality of finish and fit of the whole thing is truly shocking. Buy if you want a big BBQ for $35. Avoid if you plan on using it more than a few times, and can afford a little better.

I bought this grill yesterday, went home hoping to get it together in time to cook up some dinner. Instructions were there and all the pieces or at least they all seemed to be can't be entirely certain because when I got to step 3 or 4 where you put on the legs I ran into a major problem. The pre-drilled holes in one of the legs was not functional, you could screw in the bolt about a half of an inch but after that, it got hung up. Initially, I thought maybe it was the bolt was bent or something so I tried one off of the legs that worked, NOPE. Going to take it back to the store. Might exchange it but honestly, I am not sure if I should, I would hate to get so close to having it together again and have it not work out.
