I don't use it for my grill but it would be perfect for that purpose. Instead, I use it for my baking needs for foods I cook in my oven. I love the size and the strong bristles, which I can count on not to get out of shape or loose bristles when using.
when it comes to barbecuing, you can't be without one of these brushes. the bristles are soft but hold sauce see you don't have to keep dipping. it's got a nice grip and it's heat resistant. whether you're using a hot or cold liquid to brush on, it will retain and spread well.
Just what I needed and wanted . This is a much needed kitchen tool for me . It works so well ; applying sauces onto your meats ; be it indoor or grilled food. It's convenient and very well made . It can reach those pieces of meat we miss when just pouring sauce on , brushing sauces on with this brush it gives a nice , glaze and presentation.
These brushes are so worth the cost and more effective than the wooden bristle ones. Brought several of them. They can withstand the heat well, thought they would have melted and not retain the shape but they didn't melt. ***Note they were used in an oven settings unsure as yet about the grill flames.
My son has been learning to cook in his apartment and this was a needed item for the dishes he is making. He didn't have this brush so all he'd been doing was pouring the sauces over his chicken. This item gives him the ability to save more product and not lose most of it in the bottom of the pan.
Considering that most of these silicone brushes are seven dollars or more, which is ridiculous to me if you would ask, that's why I got this one for $.97. I actually bought it for my daughter who just moved out and is on her own and she has had zero complaints she didn't care what color it was or anything. She just needed something to base things with or put butter on or barbecue sauce you know all the things you use a silicone brush for and it's worked perfectly for her and she can even take the end off when she's washing it and dry both sides at first she thought that it broke but luckily she called me and I told her that that is for some mold doesn't grow up inside of it so for all the people who get this remember it does come off, but that doesn't mean it's broken after you wash and dry it you can put it right back on. It doesn't fall off or anything. You have to actually pull it off and she finds it easier to clean and to work with so I would say all in all this is a great purchase.
This is a great kitchen tool. I wanted to paint sweet potato chips with melted butter before placing them in the oven. It held on to a lot of butter and made applying easy. The price? Fabulous.
Purchased this to keep in our RV since we didn't have a basting brush. Wanted something a bit smaller due to space limitations. This works perfectly, fits in drawer space, fits nicely in hand and is easy to use in small spaces.
does the job, great for brushing oil or garlic paste around. Easy to clean. I wish the handle were longer so you could brush things cooking inside an over but it's fine.
The handle and brush won't stay attached to each other. I plan to glue them together tomorrow. I anticipate after this it will be all 5 star after this!
