This little guy has been such a game changer for me! I bought it for brushing oil onto my new waffle maker, but I'm using it for so much more! I've used it to spread pizza sauce onto pizza dough, to brush melted butter onto the tops of biscuits, to coat my waffle maker with oil before making waffles, and to coat my Bbq porkloin with juices and sauce. It's got a great grip, The bristles are silicone and the rest is polypropylene, so it can withstand the heat ("heat resistant" on the tag), the ease of use is simply incredible, and I really like the construction of it, and it has a one year warranty! It's easy to wash, and I don't know how I've lived my whole life without this little guy before now!
I don't use it for my grill but it would be perfect for that purpose. Instead, I use it for my baking needs for foods I cook in my oven. I love the size and the strong bristles, which I can count on not to get out of shape or loose bristles when using.
I'm going to say this is a fair value for the price since it's full size and not a paper thin handle. It isn't the same size or thickness as a higher price brush but it's not flimsy. The bristles hold enough liquid to do the job well and are firmly attached to the handle. I prefer to have multiple cheaper brushes so I can use one for sauce, one for oil/butter, etc. while I cook and not to have to keep washing my brush in between ingredients.
My son has been learning to cook in his apartment and this was a needed item for the dishes he is making. He didn't have this brush so all he'd been doing was pouring the sauces over his chicken. This item gives him the ability to save more product and not lose most of it in the bottom of the pan.
Just what I needed and wanted . This is a much needed kitchen tool for me . It works so well ; applying sauces onto your meats ; be it indoor or grilled food. It's convenient and very well made . It can reach those pieces of meat we miss when just pouring sauce on , brushing sauces on with this brush it gives a nice , glaze and presentation.
These brushes are so worth the cost and more effective than the wooden bristle ones. Brought several of them. They can withstand the heat well, thought they would have melted and not retain the shape but they didn't melt. ***Note they were used in an oven settings unsure as yet about the grill flames.
Purchased this to keep in our RV since we didn't have a basting brush. Wanted something a bit smaller due to space limitations. This works perfectly, fits in drawer space, fits nicely in hand and is easy to use in small spaces.
does the job, great for brushing oil or garlic paste around. Easy to clean. I wish the handle were longer so you could brush things cooking inside an over but it's fine.
Great little brush! The silicone bristles doesnt melt or shed, even on high heat. Easy to grip, easy to clean, and perfect for BBQ sauce or spreading your seasoning. Awesome quality for the price!
The handle and brush won't stay attached to each other. I plan to glue them together tomorrow. I anticipate after this it will be all 5 star after this!
