A great briquette for adding cooking meat
I was excited to try these briquettes. After purchasing this item I went home and threw a couple of them in a pan in my gas grill so they would add a smoke flavor my pork tenderloin. it was subtle but definitely there and I would definitely purchase this item again. Large bag for your buck
I enjoyed the blend of flavor; it added robust and well rounded flavorings to my dish. It lit well and burned just fine. I appreciate the amount of product in the 16 lb bag. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Problematic charcoal
this charcoal is very flavorful but it flames out far too quickly. it consistently fails to completely burn. might be best to mix it with a high quality charcoal.

Don't waste your money
We have bought this for years and they changed it in the last month and now its garbage. Falls apart into dust and doesn't hold heat at all. We tried every variety and all the biquettes are smaller and inefficient.

Doesn't light easily and won't sustain once lit
This is really difficult to get started, It took me a lot of charcoal starter fluid to get this going but even when it started it wouldn't spread to the other charcoal in the grill, this left me with a bad experience, I returned it.

Worst charcoal ever!!! Very hard to light and it takes forever for the coals to be ready compared to normal charcoal. Don't buy this crap!
