When we first opened the box, we were surprised by the number of pieces required to build Dynamite Kitten. This could be intimidating to some. The pieces are bagged separately inside the box so you know which parts belong together. The Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten build pieces are the same as the popular plastic build block that you buy – they are compatible with each other so you can customize the Dynamite Kitten figure with other parts from that. So you can say that the Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten is very versatile because you are not stuck with the parts they only supplied. The Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten came with easy-to-follow assembly instructions. The instructions give you a step-by-step, full colored picture to assemble Dynamite Kitten. However, as good as the Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten instructions, some parts do not fit well with each other. There are a couple of pieces that I have to grind in order to snap in. It was kind of frustrating when you are excited to finish Dynamite Kitten only to add extra steps of grinding in order for the parts to fit. Also, please note that the Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten is a static figure. This means that the figure is not bendable, poseable, or playable without breaking it apart. It would be a great addition to your Exploding Kitten collection but unfortunately, it will not be a playable toy. Overall, I am happy with the Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten. This is a figure that is challenging to build. My 9-year old son helped me build Dynamite Kitten and by the look of it, he didn't seem to have a problem following the build instructions. After a few modifications, my son finished the figure in no time. The Exploding Kittens Buildable Figure Dynamite Kitten is a good challenging figure to build. I recommend this to all Exploding Kitten fans – this will make a good addition to your collection.

I received the Exploding Kittens Dynamite Kitten as a sample for a non-bias review. I had never heard of The Exploding Kittens game. Per their website, ‘'Exploding Kittens is a highly strategic kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game. The deck is made up of cards that let you avoid exploding by peeking at cards before you draw, forcing your opponent to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck.'' This Dynamite Kitten construction kit contains a collectible character from the game. These remind me of legos, which is perfect for any kid, especially 5-6 years plus. This is just the kitten so it shouldn't be scary to any child, as the name exploding kitten may sound. Also these bricks are compatible with legos, etc so they can be combined with other systems your child may have. It was easy to build as an adult and an older child shouldn't have trouble either. The directions, as pictured, are like basic LEGO or other constructive block directions. Not great, but good enough to figure out how to build it. I went page by page and step by step to build the kitten. Our toddler loved it when it was finished and he used it to play with his other blocks.

I'm not sure what I expected with this one, wasn't aware that this was a series. Exploding Kittens - Collector Construction - Build-able Figure - Series 1 - Dynamite Kitten. I was not originally aware of Dynamite Kittens were, and I was not an original fan. My children were not a fan of this toy, mostly because the eyes creeped them out a bit. The instructions were difficult to follow, and they lost interest very quickly. Also, they were kind of bummed that it does not actually explode. When they first looked at the name, they thought that because it was a dynamite kitten that it would explode. But I did as well, I did not see the word “model” on the box until later when I was trying to figure out why it didn't blow up. What I do like about this set, it that it works with regular Legos, so they can use the pieces to build up on anything else that they feel like building. The point is that while the kitten is not very desirable to them, as a whole. The parts are worth more to them for building on their other projects. So, if there is a fan of this game then this would be a nice model to have. It builds easily and is not that difficult and is compatible with Legos. The box is a small compact size that could possibly fit in a stocking or such. Because this is a collectible item, I think it would probably be better within the set of the rest of the collectibles.

I selected the Exploding Kittens - Collector Construction - Buildable Figure - Series 1 - Dynamite Kitten for my 9 year old son. I ended up putting it together for him and found it very difficult to assemble however with his help, we were finally able to complete the task. I will tell you however that it often becomes broken and requires constant reassembly so as of now, it's sitting on a shelf where it's staying because we're all afraid to touch it. It is a cute toy however because it falls apart, we don't get much use of it.
