I got this playset for my son a few days ago and it is a favorite for me and my son... He calls it a car elevator. He likes driving them into the playset and popping them out the top. This one of my son's favorite sets In his Hot Wheels City. Although not all cars will fit, most will and that's always fun to see which ones will and which ones will not fit in the set. Even though some get stuck, they are not hard to take out and as of now, this set has not broken due to a stuck car. Very durable. We bought this online.

I got this set for my two boys to add to their hot wheels set. This set made a nice small addition to their existing track. Not a lot of piece to keep their interest as a stand alone set, but if your kids have a number of different sets and tracks it makes a nice addition. This set has been a real hit in our home of ice cream loving kids! Our 7 year old was so excited to get it out of the box and start playing. He lined up several cars to crank through and found that some of his longer race cars (formula one style) would get stuck. My daughters love this toy, cause they act like they are going for ice cream when they play with it. They love to put small items in the contraption other then cars and watch it spin around. They also add it too their farm sets and plastic brick sets to add another activity. The only draw back is the turning mechanism only fits small cars, cars that are long or tall stop it from working so they found that frustrating, and quickly learned to use small (Compact) cars only. My eight year old enjoys this but I personally find it a little clunky and difficult to use in a course with other race track components. You have to stop and turn the lever a half dozen times to progress the car through the course. It stops all forward momentum and really slows the play down.
