Looks nice and really seals up the truck bed. Little inconvenient for an 83-yr old to install but got it done. You probably won't find a cheaper one with this one's quality features. Little concern about the rear seal as every time you close the gate it rubs pretty hard on it.
Package appeared re-taped on one end, no paper work found. Love the cover, looks great, really like the upgrade weather strips. Good thing we had a previous cover on the old truck and was familiar with the install.
Product is great and easy to install. Instructions didn't work. I needed to visit Real Truck website look up my order and watch the video. Other than that great product and great price.
I had this cover on my last four trucks with no complaints, so when I got the Frontier I didn't consider any others. My mistake. Seem to me they cheapened up the tarp cover compared to my other ones. We've had a lot of wind lately, and this new one flaps when driving at higher speeds and makes lots of noise, even though it is secured to the truck bed. I think they cheapened this original up so you would spend the extra money on the 2. 0 I'm very disappointed.
This company was recommended to us by a Ford Master Tech. We are very happy with the fit, quality and the look as well as the price point. Easy installation. Would definitely recommend this product.
Compared to the extant I bought 10 years ago this doesn't compare. Cover was much heavier on the old one and the rear clamps were much easier to use for an old man with some arthritis in his hands
I take my Tonneau off on a regular basis to haul a dirt bike and I needed a lightweight cover that I could easily lift on and off. Quality seems to be good.
The cover is installed and it is very loose between the supports ribs. The cover flops alot during driving and snow collects on top. My last cover was tighter and did flob a little but this is very loose. Not seeing anyway to tighten the fabric. thinking of adding foam noodle to tighten inside of truck
I think the overall support team for RealTruck has been spectacular. I do wish to note that I think the product should include instructions on how to install it with Cargo Rails, I had to contact support directly to ask them if I had the right product. That could just be me not being very adept at figuring out how it works, but overall I think a little guidance would help.
It's pretty simple to put on. You have to download the instructions which are difficult to understand. Plus trying to look at your phone while installing it is pretty tough to do. It's not waterproof. You can see light in each front corner of the bed and the middle folding hinges on both sides. The worse thing is the locking mechanism on the back section. You can unlock it pretty easily but you have to be Hercules to lock it back. I have to get up in the bed on my back and pull down as hard as I can to get it locked back down. There is no way to adjust the tension that I know of. It's not going to come off once you get it locked down. It looks good but I wish it was easier to clamp down.
