I picked this product in my search, for price and what seemed to be ease of set up, I was not disappointed, So I am satisfied with my shopping experience.

Works great. Plug and play. Used to read medical MRIs and listen to music CDs on laptop that doesn't have cd drive. Highly recommend.

I didn't have a DVD drive in any of my computers and needed to read some old disks. The drive seemed well constructed and connected with just a USB and was recognized by my linux computer. Worked fine, although I don't like DVDs as a format; they have given way to other storage devices for the most part.

I like the fact it worked only twice, and then started glitching and not playing the movie no more. That is what i dislike.

I was thrilled when the item was delivered. Unfortunately, it would not play any of my DVDs. I tried using it with three computers, and it didn't work with any of the. When I tried to return it to Walmart, I was informed that this item was not eligible for return. So, I'm stuck with an external DVD drive that doesn't work.

Didn't work at all. I believe it was because when inserting a disc it would get stuck after closing the tray. Even when following the instructions of downloading a VLC player it couldnt read the discs inserted into it.
