The Triggerpoint Carbon is the best foam roller that I have ever used. I have been foam rolling for years. I am an avid weekend warrior and as I get older I have noticed that it's a little more dififcult to get going the next morning after a very active day. In search for a recovery solution I have been foam rolling for the past few years but I have not found the prefect roller… until now. The Triggerpoint Carbon is the sturdiest, toughest foam roller that I have ever encountered. If you have very tight muscles and are in desperate need of a good stretch, the Carbon is the way to go. The unique shape of the roller helps relieve tough to reach pressure points and the roller is incredibly durable as well. I would suggest this roller to anyone looking for the best possible stretch. To be perfectly honest, I don't think this is for beginner foam rollers; it may be too difficult – but if you have been foam rolling for a little while and are looking to take the next step, this is the foam roller for you! Ho-lee-cow. This sucker is handsdown my favorite muscle roller I've ever used. I'm an injury prone glutton for punishment and roll daily. To get my fix, I've often resorted to using a piece of wide diametered PVC piping or even cast iron rollers to work out my knots. But this triggerpoint carbon muscle roller was next level. The grooves on it literally incised the paint points with little to no body-weight pressure to the point where every full motion on the roller elicited a loud and satisfied groan. Oh - sweet, sweet myofascial release. Definitely recommend for the strong of heart and hard of mobility. ~I am writing this unbiased review as part of a contest

Great roller!! Had very stiff muscles and felt so much better afterwords. The foam roller did absulte wonders on my legs. I had pain in my quads and hamstrings for months and went to great lengths to relieve my pain but found no solution. Once I tried the carbon roller, I felt immediate relief. Within several days of rolling out in the morning before work and at night before bed I found that my legs were much less sore and I was able to run without any pain or discomfort again. You have not used a foam roller until you have tried this trigger point carbon roller - there's definitely a reason why their brand is TriggerPoint and this muscle roller is that reason! I find that this does a great job of getting pressure points during a massage, and I enjoy it much more than the Triggerpoint Grid exercise rollers. This is so great for rolling out your back after a heavy deadlifting session or even getting those knots out of your calves from too many calf raises. I tried this first at Crunch gym and fell in love. I can't describe the feeling other than "hurts so good" - if you stretch after a workout then you understand what I mean. There was one time I used this on my calves, and literally felt a knot just loosen. Life changing. If you're always sore after a good workout then this is the foam roller for you! I will warn you, it's more painful than the other flatter foam exercise rollers but it's worth it. It's also the perfect size for small space living, aka urban living in NYC, because it's shorter than other foam rollers. The hard hollow core also means you get to roll without feeling like you're sinking into the foam roller, and also multitasks as a holder for a yoga mat which means more storage solutions for NYC living! I love this one. Great to roll on after a long run. It is also good for travelers since it's pretty small and you use the its cylinder shape to pack socks and t-shirts. Highly recommended also if you already have a softer roll. I am writing this review as part of a sweepstakes
