I never leave reviews, but this item is worth the time and I hope I can help others find what they are looking for. As a first-time Guinea Pig owner, I was not sure what to get. This item is perfect; the spacing between the bars leaves no room for escape and it’s metal, so they can’t chew through it. There are different ways to configure it, and I attached mine to an existing Guinea pig cage to optimize their space (if you do this, just be sure to secure the panels connected to the cage very well with zip ties so there are no gaps). The canvas bag bottom keeps the floor around it clean - if anything gets past the bedding you use, and it was super easy to put together just how I wanted. The set even comes with a mallet and plenty of zip ties. I am very happy with my purchase, and I will probably buy another set at some point to further expand their living area.

Looks like it will be a great cage but the chemical smell is so strong I’m having to soak it in water and vinegar. No way would it be safe for an animal to go in with that smell. Gave me a instant headache.

Good value for the size, however it should have a top.
