Extreme Max 3005.3377 Aluminum Pontoon and Dock Ladder - 3-Step

I mounted this ladder to the swim platform on my 32 foot boat. I am using the brackets that allow quick removal because you can't run the boat with the ladder in the water. The brackets are included but you can also do a permanent mount if you want. I think it is well designed and held up to my 60 year old, 200 pound weight over the 4th of July weekend with no problem. The large hand holds help greatly in climbing out of the water. I bought the 3 step ladder but after using it, I would recommend the 4 step for easier boarding.

We ordered this dock ladder to more easily access fishing boat both getting on and off. We have a dock with our boat on a lift. This ladder makes it so much easier to get on and off. I originally had more difficulty depending on the height of the water, but now the ladder makes it so easy even my husband is using it. Will be buying another for our summer home in Maine. This is a perfect dock ladder. There is some assembly required - attaching the steps to the ladder standards.

Nobody came close in price to this ladder. A couple of holes were off centered and I needed to drill them out for assembly. Very light weight and easy to manipulate on the pontoon. I would guess this ladder could easily hold a 300 pound person. Perhaps not as sturdy as the more expensive ones on the market.....but not as costly either !!

This arrived in the mail promptly as promised. Easy to assemble. (27 minutes total with a socket wrench set with power drill attachment and a screwdriver for the 5 step version) Clear instructions. I have used it on my dock for 10 days now. Nice and solid. The only thing you need for permanent mounting is a few lag bolts with washers. As every permanent installation has different thicknesses I assume that is why the bots don't come with it. The "removable " version of installation materials are included. I would buy again!

It was easy to put together and installed in about 15 min. I secured to the wooden dock. It's very light weight. So far it is working well.
