Even caught a bird! awesome trap!!
Doesn't work to good for Gray squirrels! Great for rats, field mice,crows and chipmunks! I like they are easy to set and unload.
They don't work.
Plastic crap. The squirrels chewed it up. Didn't trap anything accept for a couple of birds since it's an open trap.
Purchased traps, but squirrels took bait without getting caught. At first, I placed peanuts in the well below the pressure plate, and the squirrels were able to successfully remove without tripping the trap. In two instances, I saw them remove the bait even after tripping the trap. Their reflexes are simply too fast. I even placed some see-through tape OVER the well, forcing the squirrels to work at getting the peanuts, but to no avail.
After I purchased it and set it the first night, I realized there was a good chance that the feral cats that come in my yard might be attracted to the smell and be harmed. I went outside and disarmed them and never used them.
