Faber-Castell Castell 9000 Sketching & Accessories Set, 7-Piece Set

I make stained glass patterns so being able to do a rough sketch on paper has been awesome. This is such a nice set!

The pencils in this kit, HB, 2B, 4B. and 6B, are smooth and vary in pigmentation which make them the perfect tools for drawing.

They've got a nice smooth lead that makes writing or drawing a breeze, and they're just all around high quality. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving Faber-Castell pencils a try if you're looking for a solid pencil. They're a bit on the pricier side, but you're paying for quality.

She is employed as a chemist and loves to sketch out molecular hypotheses in various experiments. She loves how precise her sketches look and the strength of the lead helps with potential breakage. The erasers don't smear the sketches and the pencil sharpener is sharp and keep the pencils in fine shape for the next job! Quality product!

They sharpen well and draw easily on paper. The lead is easy to blend also. I recommend this brand to anyone who likes to draw!

The ranges of thickness and color of the lead cover all of the necessary bases for me to select which one to use and when. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging was easy to open; leads were easy to sharpen and did not "go crooked" in the pencil sharpener. My son has enjoyed using these in his sketchbook. He was glad it came with a sharpener but we wish it had included an eraser as well.

The feel of them are smooth and they seem to last me a while and are durable. The quality is one of the best I've seen and I will use again!

The sharpener is also a great piece to have because it is often hard to find one that fits your sketching tools properly. Some other sharpeners eat too much of your pencil in order to get them pointed well. Varied levels of darkness and hardness make these pencils nice sketching tools.
