Faber-Castell Gelatos Metallic-15 Piece Gelato Art Set for Adult Beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been making art for twenty years and this is the first I've ever heard of Gelatos. I adore them! They layer like chalk pastels, glide like oil pastels, and blend with water like watercolors. I didn't even see how shiny and sparkly the iridescents are until I caught it in the right light, so they are not obviously in-your-face full of sparkles, but when it catches the light it sure does dazzle. Gelatos are my new favorite medium. You can't get fine lines with them but it forces me out of the perfectionism box and I need that. My only concern is that they are so rich and creamy I'm afraid of using them up too quickly!

He loved this set of Gelatos Metallics. The colors are beautiful and have a muted sparkle, it doesn't overpower the art. They apply smoothly and the brush and blending tool tool thar is included really work great to create a perfect piece.

I like that it came with a brush and a sponge so that you can smug and do watercolor. The colors are vibrant. I enjoy using this set to draw a picture.

pretty colors that blend easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice big set of metallic gels. Lots of different colors to choose from. I think they're more muted in color. I'd like them to be brighter and saturated in color. My daughter uses them to color and I used them to fill in some nicks that I had on some gold leafed furniture. It also worked to fill in some scratches I had around the edges of some metallic pumps. So glad I had these on hand.
