Product looks nice on website, but when received, it was a different story.
For the price of $50 each I'm extremely disappointed in the quality. The piping was lumpy and crooked. The foor cushion wasn't soft foam rubber material. Whatever it was, it was "crunchy" like item had been stored in a VERY DRY place. I had ordered both the grey and the linen, and both had same quality issues.
Also when I ordered it, I don't remember the description indicating that Walmart wouldn't stand behind the return. But when I went to return these foot stools, I received the message that I needed to contact the Seller and that they would respond in 48 hours. That time has passed.
So - 2x$50=$100.
I am out $100.
I'm a senior citizen and on a very fixed income, I want to support Walmart's various product lines - but this one is a deal breaker.
If Walmart cannot /will not look out for it's clients, e.g. me, us, you, unfortunately that tells a lot of what and who they have come to value.
I used to think /hoped that when Walmart was negotiating these product contracts they would also be looking out their clients.
Two issues I'm unhappy with 1) I have to deal with the Seller myself - haggling for a refund
2) If I keep these two foot stools I would have to remake cover, the piping, and new foam rubber, wait, that's why I why I paid $50 per stool.
I know it's hard to always meet in the middle, have the right product margins for both the seller and buyer to stay in business, but I feel so ripped-off. if the item was of good quality I would be elated to have paid a fair price for a quality product.
I'm just sad...
