This yogurt is deliciously rich and creamy due to its higher fat content and satiates you with less. Pairs perfectly with frozen fruit, Honey, granola or whatever else you want to add. Digests way easier as well probably due to the natural ingredients.
Mix with a little lemon juice and it makes a great sour cream. Mix with honey or a little fruit and it makes a nice dessert. Good with blueberries, strawberries, peaches or bananas. Fage comes in 0° fat or more depending upon your preference. lt's great on tacos too 😋
The ONLY yogurt I buy, Greek or otherwise! Texture: very thick, but I thin it out with lemon juice, water, honey and extra virgin olive oil Taste: has a tanginess and tartness often associated with Greek yogurt Price: kinda expensive but super large container makes it worth it and GMO project verified Woohooo 😍 Sweet recipe: I put lemon zest, honey and water to thin it out and it tastes so dang good you'll never buy regular yogurt or flavored yogurt ever again! Trust me and try it for yourself. Toppings like blueberries, granola and nuts. Savory recipe: I grate fresh garlic (yes, garlic), add some sea salt and some water and use it as a dip for chips, veggies, put on spicy food and it is life changing! I highly recommend it….especially if you love garlic as much as I do! And who doesn't…? Sometimes I add salt, cumin, turmeric and other warm spices and fresh herbs like parsley, mint and cilantro and use it as a dip with warm pita with feta. Wonderful breakfast! Greek yogurt is something everyone should eat because it's so healthy, easy and filling due to its high protein content and nutritional benefits. Enjoy!
I started doing Greek yogurt with fruit for breakfast about a year and a half ago. Research told me to try this brand and it was much better than the other brands. I tried you pay a little more, but the taste is unmistakenly better the change in my breakfast routine has resulted in the loss of about 35 pounds in a little over a year while enjoying a wonderful healthy breakfast.
The only yogurt I will buy because its strained like Greek yogurt is supposed to be. i find other greek yogurts are soupy or labeled "greek style" when they ate not even close, texture wise. Nice and acidic, as its supposed to be without too much tang. Very balanced and a terrific as a seasoned marinade as well. If youre more of a traditional yogurt eater and lke the fruit on the bottom or the sweetened ones, can control the sweetness yourself without wondering how or what was used by adding your own...a touch of local honey/maple syrup and some granola or your personal preference of grains/cereals makes for a perfect breakfast. I also use for Mediterranean plating of main dishes...stir in any level of spices/minced herbs and a pinch or two of salt takes in a more savory direction that you can apply to your plate before placing meat/vegetables... I use in making dressings by thinning it out a little with either buttermilk or even water. Use in baking for dairy and for cutting heavier mayo dressing to make a healthier options. I see more local to New England, Cabot, really dropping the ball on what really is Greek Yogurt, as their version is loaded with sugar and vanilla which is tough to multi purpose like you would with a Fage yogurt. You arent using that for a marinade or a savory dish, and you have to account for all the sugar and excessive vanilla for any type of baking or using as a sauce.
Our favorite yogurt. We will not buy any other brand! Love how creamy and thick it is. So many others are runny by comparison. I use this as a substitute for mayo and sour cream in and dressings and as a sub for buttermilk with baking. And of course we use it for yogurt bowls and smoothies daily!
This is the ONLY yogurt i have found consisting of ONLY the absolute essentials of yogurt: the substance, milk and cream and the bacteria that ferment it into yogurt ! NO sugar, NO flavoring and NO pectin. Unbelievably thick and creamy. To me supremely DELICIOUS. But probably not to everyone.
Find yogurt is fantastic. I usually get the 5% as I'm not using the keto diet. It taste me like a mixture of real heavy whipping cream and ice cream. It's not as sweet as ice cream but the texture is fantastic. It does come with fruit in the individual containers also but I eat so much of it. I get it by the large containers. My cholesterol is great. It's a wonderful product.
Most food items, I buy store brand because you can't tell the difference in taste, but when it comes to yogurt, it definitely makes a difference. I believe that it is worth the higher price to have the rich flavor and texture of FAGE Greek yogurt, and although I usually buy whole milk yogurt, even the non-fat Greek FAGE yogurt is delicious. I enjoy it plain, mixed with a scoop of protein powder, or with granola for breakfast or lunch.
Delicious and very healthy with very clean ingredients, multiple strands of live probiotics, plenty of fat, protein dense, and low glycemic index. Not sweet at all. If you like it sweet, just add berries or honey. I'll often eat a tub by itself for breakfast, especially when I have time to mix in fruits.
