Sturdier than I expected. Nice thickness and not too heavy. Been using them for a while now and I attached my dog's leash to these belts and they are still in good condition and she is VERY large, over 100 lbs, and strong. I expected them to be cheap and soon replaced but they've become a standard part of my dog walking outfit.
Great belt and easy to use buckle. Make sure you check the width of your belt loops before ordering. This is a tight fit for the standard belt loops. Tread the belt through the loops then put on the buckle.
I am a little overweight and find this belt very useful. My thin leather belts wore out within a year. This belt still looks like new. And if it gets a little loose, I can easily tighten it without having to undo it like a buckle would require.
Love the belt. The cotton web belts that came on my shorts over the years have mostly worn out. I hope that this nylon web will outlast them - it seems to be quite well made and durable. Most of the newer cotton belts now have D- ring “closures” that slip (my older belts had rectangular “rings” and the straight bars held the belts in place well. I really like this sturdy ”tactical” closure. I have found that occasionally if my waist pushes the release button up against something it will release. Annoying but, not a game changer for me (I just have to be careful in situations in which that could happen). My 1st order was packed in a paper bag and someone @ FedEx stole the belt and a flat bag with the end folded over and “sealed” with 2 blank FedEx labels was delivered to my porch. Their delivery confirmation photo clearly shows a flat, empty bag. Walmart promptly refunded my $$ and said they make sure my reorder would be in a sealed box - which it was. Thanks, WalMart!
Was really surprised that the quality of this belt, the fact that it's made out of elastic is wonderful and the Buck is crazy strong. The only thing I don't like is the buckle is a little too wide. It fit through belt loops on shorts or dress pants..
Got this as a work belt and it just isn't for me. Does not stay tight enough. The extra elastic loop to hold the excess length is kind of required but annoying to keep on the belt. The quick release buckle works a bit too well and I have had the belt come undone accidentally multiple times when lifting something close to my body at waist height or just after bumping into something that's at waist height.
The belt is made well and seems durable. However, neither of the ends will fit through a standard 1.5" belt loop. So, to use this belt, you would need to remove the end from the belt, push the belt through the loops and reassemble the end. Then you need to go through it all again to remove the belt from the pants. Terrible engineering design.
The "Theory" is good, but I could not get the buckle to "Grab" the belt tight enough to not slip.
first of all, it said to order 1 size larger. do not. my belt almost goes around me twice. i wanted to do a return and did everything the website said. plus, take it to any walmart for return. the lady scanned it, and it said non returnable. so I'm waiting to see if my refund shows up. website said it could take up to 3 weeks. we'll see.
Buckle doesn't fit through a normal jeans belt loop. This belt is nonsense!
