This disposal metal pans are great! I used them when I had a large party at my house I used some to serve pasta salad and others were used to bake and serve mini sandwiches. They did not bend under the weight of the food and clean up was a breeze. I threw away the empty ones and covered the leftovers with tin foil and stuck in the fridge! Worked perfectly. Highly recommended product.
I love love love foil pan! We entertain a lot throughout the year so these are extremely well used. They may cleanup such a breeze and the price for these was out of this world! I have a daughter graduating next year and these will be the staple for our meal! Nothing like being able to toss all the dishes for easy cleanup!
*Family Essentials 13”x 9” Aluminum Cake Pan* *Uses* The Family Essentials 13” x 9” Aluminum Cake Pan is a handy way to have convenience along with the ability to recycle the pan when finished using too. It can be used for cakes, but also for other foods when taking to family dinners like Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. We like to load up other food such as potato salad, macaroni and cheese, lasagna, and beans. However, today I wanted to make a Devil's Food cake with Milk Chocolate frosting in this pan. I always lightly spray my pans with olive oil so nothing will stick, and it always turns out great. And this was no exception. I had no problems with this pan, but I always use another flat sheet pan to support aluminum pans at the bottom for extra help. After cooling, no cake stuck to the pan, and every piece lifted out easily and whole into each plate. Oh, and did I tell you it was delicious? No one complained, and the cake disappeared quickly. *Disposable* The best part is that this can be washed out and recycled. This pan cleans up nicely and can be recycled. *Conclusions* I recommend the Family Essentials 13” x 9” Aluminum Cake pan for all your sheet cake making needs and other baking needs.
Whether it's for transporting food to a potluck or making a sheet cake for the kids, foil pans make the job easy. So far I've used it to transport meat from the smoker back into the house and it did that without any trouble. I've also baked a sheet cake in it for my sweet tooth and it was just as easy as using any other pan I've baked in. These foil pans are lightweight, store easily, have thick enough aluminum for any task in the kitchen, and cleanup is a snap: just toss it in the wastebasket! While the pan could have had a little more ‘handle' space for confident grabbing out of the oven, the pan didn't give me any worries of collapsing in the middle or unable to hold the weight of the food. This doesn't come with a lid which is a bummer but plastic wrap or foil still gets that task done if a lid is needed. Overall I find myself using these types of foil pans for many tasks in the kitchen and even around the workshop for various uses. They're well built, have high value, and are even recyclable aluminum. This one intended for cake pan replacement is just great!
I am lazy so I prefer disposable although I routinely clean these or rinse them for recycling, Cheaper in bulk and I use them a lot especially for messy things that are designed to make left overs such as ziti, chicken parm, sausage and peppers and a million others. Covers well and stores well and you only have to clean them if you want.
Wow, this was a nice bargain! Great value, nice and useful size make these ideal for casseroles, cakes, etc. Especially for large gatherings or a large family meal casserole. Convenient, just use, and dispose of properly, since these are such a great deal! Love these, and would definitely buy again!
This pack of 9x13 cake pans is exactly what I needed for transporting a lot of food to my family gathering without worrying about my dishes getting “lost”. This is actually a set of 25 pans, so I had more than plenty to use for the get together and then some left for the next family or church potluck. I like the size and these were perfect for the dishes I made, including: strudel, pasta salad, garlic bread, rolls, marshmallow crispy treats, crepes, and a berry trifle. So easy to put the cold items right onto the car seat for transport, and then pop them into the refrigerator when I got there until I was ready to serve them. I get nervous putting heavier dishes into these types of pans, so I placed them on a cookie sheet in a cooler for transport in the car so the bottom would be best supported plus it stayed warm en route to the event. I am so happy that they arrived in excellent shape and I didn't have to do any clean up!! I am a changed woman, no more using my personal bakeware to transport to events, I will now use these types of pans and have time to enjoy the party instead. I'd highly recommend these for stress-free hosting.
These pans are really good. No they aren't like the thick ones you would get for catering, but for the average person they are great. The size worked excellent to become a drip pan in my smoker and then I used another one to make a cheese dip. They are a pack of 25, you just can't go wrong.
There are 25 pans which is nice to have. It holds a nice sheet cake or cornbread. I think because the pans are light weight and not for over heavy food it’s nice to have for cooking and not cleaning up. If you put anything with weight I would add a cookie sheet underneath. It’s still a good idea to have a few pans around especially during summer. Use close to the grill for dogs and hand burgers. Make large amounts of potato salad.
These aluminum pans were a great price but after using them now I realize why they were so affordable. They are very thin and flimsy, so they will work fine for something light like cake but they will be difficult to maneuver for something heavy, like chicken and potatoes.
