Fantasia & Fantasia 2000 Special Edition (DVD)

Love Fantasia. Great thing to even sit and listen to the music without the picture. Wasn't too crazy about Fantasia 2000. Seemed like they were trying to make it more like a comedy, and put more actors/actresses in it, rather than it being about the music.

I remember seeing Fantasia on TV when I was little and seeing Fantasia 2000 when it first hit theatres. Fantasia is an experience unlike any other. There isn't anything inappropriate about the images or the music; it's beautiful. Granted, it's not all princesses and pixie dust, but it's artistic value remains. The movies thrilled me when I was younger and continue to thrill me today.

I bought this DVD to give my grandchildren the same joy of this Disney movie that I had as a child. It has vivid colors, and humor that kept the attention of my grandchildren plus it has educational properties to it. My grandson even said that he wanted to be a conductor when he grew up! I would recommend this DVD to both adults and children, especially doing so together. It is truly a great DVD.

Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 is a marvelous film, I'm gladly enjoyed it.

better than expected

great very colorfull

This is a nice movie, BUT its not meant for a 2 year old. My daughter cried at a few parts of the movie. I figured anything from the disney vault would be acceptable for my daughter, but i was wrong. It was also a bit too riskay as well. There are female creatures with no clothes on. There is no major detail but I wouldnt consider this movie rated "G" I was a bit shocked while we were watching this movie. I would say this is more geard at kids 8+ at least. I do not approve of the nudity or the violence.
