Just received this cordless powered screwdriver. The small size is perfect for my lady's hand. Great torque, the light is perfect and stays lit for a few seconds after you finish turning the screwdriver. I've used it in tight spaces and it's the perfect tool for the job.
I have wanted a Fanttik electric screwdriver since they went viral on social media a couple years ago. I finally decided to pull the trigger on one and ordered the S1. This particular model comes with a really nice storage case that looks great and keeps both the screwdriver and bits safe and secure. It feels good in my hand. The operation of this screwdriver is great and it's ve try functional. I love that it is able to be reaching the tight areas that I can't get to on my own! The batteries are rechargeable. It was a great value compared to similar competing products!
Very nice high quality tool, great feel in the hand with a slip free coated surface and the same power as the pro version! Nice zipper case for storage to!
Given as gifts to my team of IT Technicians. They love them. The driver works well for working on laptops and desktops. Small bits, easy to hold and plenty of torque.
I ordered it on Sunday May 4th and received it on Thursday May 8th. I charged the screw driver before use. It drew up to 370 milliamps for about two hours. I like that it has a 1/4" magnetic Hex Chuck, because all 100 of my steel ¼” security bits fit the chuck. I used the smallest Phillips bit that came with new screwdriver to remove the cover and m.2 2280 SSD from my mini-PC. Saved me a lot of twisting with a regular Phillips.
I skipped recommending this particular Fantik screwdriver because it doesn't have variable speed, which means it comes on at full speed instead being able to slowly drive the screw. On small screws this is a definite problem; on large screws not so much. The unit is very light weight but delivers a good amount of torque. I would like to see the forward and reverse switch more prominently displayed and more tactically felt so you don't have to look for the switch but can feel it. Very nice streamline design. It was on sale at Walmart which made it more attractive.
I really want to like it, but even though it has three levels of torque, it only has ONE speed- fast. I need to find something with a trigger, this slips out of screws easily because you can't go slow no matter what torque setting. Other than that, it has a nice selection of bits and seems well made. However, if you are looking to use this in small places with precision, like the furniture and desktop repairs it is advertised for, there is no way it is good for that.
I like all the attachments it came with and the case is nice. The issues I have with it is the cover over the end where the tips go came off with first use and doesn't stay on. The ability of it to remove screws is poor. You have to first loosen the screw with a manual turn and then you can use the power to remove the screw. As for tighten the screw, pretty much the same, use manual at the end to tighten the screw all the way in.
This doesn't have enough power to drive a screw into wood, like a drywall stud. It just kept slipping. It's not as good as a bigger power drill/screw driver If you want something just to put furniture together or something, maybe better use
At first glance this looks like a good idea for an everyday tool. But when you actually use it, you discover its design problem. The button to fasten/remove is too shallow and positioned too low on the handle to be able to use it with 1 hand only; this is a 2-handed screwdriver. Because of this, I do not recommend this product.
