Farberware 12-Inch High Performance Nonstick Covered Deep Frying Pan, Fry Pan, Skillet, Black

Love these pots and pans....I've had my set for over 11 years ....just bought a set for my daughter.....they works wonderfully and last for years if you take proper care of them.

The pan works great. I'm not surprised having had quite a few of them over the last 15 years. I wouldn't have had to order another if not for a family member cold water quenching a very hot pan causing it to warp. It would have sill been useable but we have an electric flattop stove.

I didn't know what to expect because I needed the pan as a gift for my daughter and other sources wouldn't deliver when I needed it. I was extremely pleased with the product and the speed with which it arrived at my door. It came the day of the birthday party, thank Heaven. I plan to shop at Walmart from now on.

I ordered this for my sister for Christmas. She wanted a large frying pan. She is going to be so excited. This is a brand name. I looked at it and it is made so well. I know she is going to love it. It is absolute perfection thank you thank you, Kathy Hylton

I bought two same kind of skillets (but smaller) years ago. In recent years, I have bought about 4 different kind of 12-inch skillets. They all not good, I have to through them away. I come to the point of what should I buy the next. Then I thought why not try to find the same make but 12-inch big. So I went to Circulon and buy this one. It is a great skillet, very endured and not too heavy, nonstick. I really like it.

I love the size of this skillet. Be sure and read the instructions, like don't use cooking spray. The only negative is the pan doesn't have a groove for the glass lid to fit in for storage. You have to hold the lid in place to store upside down or remove from cupboard if stored with lid on pan.

So far, so good. I got this to replace my usual non-stick pan which was losing the non-stick layer (after someone used metal utensils on it...). I like that it is deep. Things have not stuck to it and it is very easy to clean. I would have given it five stars except that the instructions say to use medium heat and some foods just need higher heat.

pan is very nice only thing the packing stinks. The box it came in was flaky and the handle was partially sticking out the box. The pan also had little scratch on the side but no big deal compared to the cheap packing it came in. The box's need to be more sturdy and items need to be bubble wrapped at least to protect product. Pan is nice but disappointed with the packaging.

While this pan is of good quality, it falls very short of the Circulon pan that it replaced. The old one had a nice, thick handle that was easy to hold onto. While it cooks with the same ease and efficiency as my old one, this handle is very uncomfortable, even measured against my newer pots. Since the pan is large, and heavy when full, the thin handle with skimpy padding makes it very difficult to lift and empty. All in all, while it is still a quality pan, this one is not for me.

I shouldve taken it as a sign when I first ordered and received this. The handle was broken when it arrived and I got my replacement in no time. The quality is not good. The black coating starts coming off after a while (with well knowledge of how to clean this item) and eventually started to literally get into the food cooked. Its safe to say that I no longer use it after seeing that. And I feel unsafe even trying to. Its disgusting to know that eventually I'll be eating the pan coating with literally less than a year of having this thing.
