Farberware 14 Piece Classic Traditions Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set, Silver

I used Farberware many years ago when I first lived on my own. I loved your cookware and still have several Original pieces, minus what I lost or loaned to friends. I wanted new cookware and I did not want any other product! After 30 plus years, Farberware is still the best!

I have had my Classic set since since 1991 and my mom has had hers since 1964. I HAD to buy it for my classroom because I knew no matter how badly the students treated them, they would recover with just a little elbow grease. I purchased 6 sets !!!!!!!!

This is what I have been looking for a regular pot set like I had when I got married in 1954. I didn't know that I could still buy them that were as heavy and look as nice as they do. I am looking to buy some Farbarware to replace other pieces that I need.

Farberware was my first set of pots and pans when I got married over 35 years ago so it was the first set I thought about for my son and daughter-in-law. They're made really well, clean up great and are a good value for the money. I do love that they now have glass covers.

I have had the same Farberware cookware since I got married in 1990 and my husband's grandmother bought it for us. It has held up extremely well and still looks almost new - even through four children and cooking almost every day. I appreciate that there are no coatings that I have to worry will add harmful chemicals to our food. When we purchased an induction range my old cookware wasn't compatible. I was excited to find this set which was similar to what I already had and was reasonably priced. The handles on the new set feel even more substantial than the old ones.

When I was a kid in the 70's Farberware cookware was our mother's favorite. she swear by the quantity. My sister has a Farberware cookware set since the 90's. She's very satisfied with the quantity as well. I was looking to purchase a new cookware set to replace the TFal set I purchased not long ago. I love the ease of nonstick, but its a waste of money. I wanted to replace the set with a quality stainless steel cookware set at an affordable price. When I came across this set at the awesome Walmart peice of $69,00 I thought of my mother and sister's Farberware cookware prsises and purchased the set on the spot. The set did disappoint. It's an attractive and high quality cookware set at an excellent price. I'm really enjoying cooking with the pieces. I will add a few another pot and larger pan to my collection from Walmart.com ASAP.

For the price this is a good deal. Though these are mostly smaller sized pans, you do get a variety, and if you need something larger there is a stock pot which is decent sized for cooking pasta for around 3/4 people. The smaller sized frying pan can cook 2-4 eggs and the larger one can cook around 5-6 eggs easily. So it's not a huge set but it is a good one. The pans are nice quality with nice glass lids. They are stainless steel pans but things don't stick as bad as I feared or read in some of the other reviews. They are surprisingly pretty easy to clean and this set can even can go in the dishwasher which is awesome. Obviously if you are used to using non stick cookware, switching to stainless steel will be a little different, but honestly these are still easy to clean, just follow the instructions for using stainless steel cook wear so you know what you're doing! The switch to a healthier pan made without the non-stick teflon type coating is great. The set came with some sturdy plastic spoons and a spatula etc. You should not use metal spatulas and stick to plastic or bamboo style so you won't scratch up the pans. There are other helpful tips I found with a quick search online. So if you want to get the best out of your pans, you might as well do the same. Over all, I do recommend this set as I have been happy with it after using for a couple months now.

Classic Cookware is the Best. My parents still have the same set of classic Farberware cookware they bought when they were first married 53 years ago. It remains in great shape and no need to worry about harmful chemicals you could be ingesting with non stick cookware. No need to worry about scratching this cookware either. Affordable and lasts forever unlike anything else you buy anymore.

My mother in law passed down to me, 1 pot and 1 pan of her 35 year old Farberware cookware. Sill like new! Clean up easy. I love that there is a smooth surface on the insides of them, where the handle meets the steel. I'm so glad I purchased an entire stainless steel set! Definately cookware that last for decades. And will be passed down to my kids some day.
