Works great! House does not completely smell like grease after using. The oil filtering system is easy to use and a very nice feature! So far, so good! Only con is a short cord for plug in.
I purchased this for my mom, end up buying 2 its nice to have very convenient love the filter on the bottom perfect for cooking chicken on a stick if you take basket out
OMG the bomb. I love the grease drain and reserve. Restuarant quality. Easy clean, wonderful. Worth the money
I really like it it heats up the light tells you when the oil is ready and the filter system keeps the oil clean, so I feel like after i use it for a while it'll pay for itself. I don't burn money on oil.
I have a Airfryer that I used a lot. Once in awhile, I like fried chicken in oil. Storing the oil while not in use is a very good feature. I like the item overall.
This frier was purchased to replace a much larger 2 basket frier. It is going to take some time to get use to. It is very well made and the filter/storage system is a definite improvement.
You HAVE to make sure to remove the oil storage container from the fryer bottom and set it aside, not on a hot surface, not in bright sunlight. Then you HAVE to remember to wait for the oil to COMPLETELY cool, then you insert the storage container, then you filter the oil into the storage container. Then clean the metal oil bin, basket, and heating element. Then you are ready for your next fry. I re-use the oil about 5-7 times depending on what I cooked in it and how dark it gets. Also the lid to the storage bin IS NOT AIR TIGHT. Meaning keep it level when it is full of oil and you are transporting it.
Loved everything about it. But I burned it up accidently on the stove where I had placed it until I was done with food prep. Burner brushed and it was accidently turned on and that was the end. Loved it, will be buying it again. Good price, fast shipping. Very pleased.
I am from the south and we love our fried foods!! I love that after each use I can cool the oil and strain it then wash my fryer!! The only issue is the PLASTIC reservoir that catches the used oil. After several uses it warps. MAKE SURE your oil is completely cool and I have started frying with the plastic reservoir removed from the bottom of the fryer. I'm on my second fryer because the first oil reservoir warped so bad oil leaked everywhere!!
Oil pan lid not firmly on and won't go on.
