Farberware Cookstart Aluminum DiamondMax Nonstick Straining Saucepan, 3-Quart, Black

I bought this to replace an older pot from Faberware that we had for years and loved. It is fantastic and works just as great as the old one had.

Great pan for soups or rice!

This saucepan is perfect in every way. Avoids using a strainer for small amounts of pasta, heating up canned veggies, and cooking small amounts of fruit (I use it to cook two apples to make applesauce for my granddaughter), for example. The quality is typical Faberware, it will last forever!!

I've wanted a second 3-quart saucepan for a long time and finally went with this reasonably priced one. The option to use the steam holes and the straining lid and lip are wonderful conveniences. I won't be able to insert a steamer I don't think, because the steam will come out the pouring notch, and the pot is taller and narrower than my other 3-qt. But the nonstick element is great. Like the Farberware I received for my wedding 40+ years ago, I know I'll use it for a long time to come.

Best purchase ever - as far as pans go! It is exactly what we were looking for. Thank you, FARBERWARE!! :)

This small pan is just the right size for a can of soup or gravy. I love that it has the straining lid. Very convenient for 2 people or small ingredients.

First - the size of the pot is perfect - we love the straining lid and the non-stick features. It's a great little pot doing great work.

I love the strainer top. I used it all the time. Unfortunately I don't think it's made for glass top ranges. Over time the bottom ridges got little holes in it and I couldn't use it. Very dissatisfied.

The picture shows 2 fry pans and one 3 quart saucepan BUT it's only the saucepan!
