Farberware Dishwasher Safe Set of 3 Nylon Kitchen Tools in Black

I was gifted the Farberware Professional Set of 3 Tools in return for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own. I like these products. The set comes with a slotted turner, a short turner and a basting spoon. I use the basting spoon all the time when making soups, stews and almost anything on the cook top. It is not good for lifting anything too heavy though. I aslo use the turners almost every day as I prepare egg white for breakfast daily. These turners work as they are supposed to. I would not leave them unattended in the pan because I worry that they may melt. I usually wash these items by hand but have been known to put them in the dishwasher as well. I would recommend these items to family and friends.

I was asked to review these tools and was excited to see that they were some I have owned for years! I have been using mine for years and always had good experiences with them!I would recommend them for your good go to spatulas and spoons.

Based on the description, I was disappointed in the quality or lack there of with this set. Noticably, they are flimsy but what is most disturbing, the turners melt on medium heat. The edges kept coming off in the food while cooking and when washed by hand. I don't know what happened to the 400 degree heat they should be able to handle but they definitely do not deliver. I'm now in search of new turners.
