I cancelled my order in the end because I limped through without it. But, Walmart pick up saved me the time of going in the store on a very busy day of I had needed these items.

Not really sure. My wife took them

They are bigger and bulkier than I thought they'd be, but they are sharp and cut well.

They are scissors and of course they cut. But I wish both sides of the scissors had the same design so the sheath could slide on in either direction. The different design on the back makes it less easy to slide the sheath back on quickly.

Good for the part that works

CJ July 2, 2024

Overall, the scissors are as expected: nothing fancy but usable. The major demerit comes from the blades not engaging each other enough to cut for 1/3-1/2 of the blade. Once it is closed enough for the edges to contact each other, the scissors are reasonably sharp and effective. Unfortunately the tip end of the blade is also the area of the least mechanical advantage, so any materials that require more force will require just that much effort from the user. As there is no adjustment mechanism, you are stuck with what you get. Until I can find a better pair of scissors, it's marginally useful for easy work.

Dull

Ralph July 4, 2025

Scissors are dull regardless of any attempt to sharpen. Will not cut paper so I have not tried any material. I would not recommend this product

This is the worst scissor I have ever bought. My 10 year old pair that I was hoping to replace are way sharper and more useful. Had I not thrown the packaging away I would have definitely returned them. The sharpener did not help at all, however it did sharpen my old pair, thus the one star.

not working for me

Jujubee October 14, 2024

I bought these because of low price, trying to save some money. the scissors stick and I have to work with both hands to get them open. Now I can feel and hear the blades grind as I open and close them, and they seem to catch just before they jerk open, not a smooth movement. I mostly use them to cut up salad greens, no meat, nothing thick. I have cut the top off of a frozen food item bag. I don't like the sharpener, I watched the video and the blade comes away with bits of the red plastic on it. the scissors also are hard to push in and pull out of the sleeve. Wishing I had bought the ones that you can take apart [ saw those on another site]. I hope I can get a refund from Faberware.

Painful on hands while cutting. Hard cheep plastic. Good for cutting paper, nothing more. Would not recommend.

Waste of money, poor quality

Anonymous September 14, 2025

Terrible, flimsy, cheaply made scissors that are way over priced. Terrible quality plastic. These will not last. Nothing strong about these scissors.
