Farberware Edgekeeper® Professional 15-piece Forged Triple Riveted Knife Block Set

I received this as a gift in exchange for a product review. First Impressions: Beautiful color for any kitchen, plenty of knife options, includes a sharpener. Afterthoughts: sharp, durable, the knives look a bit cheap in my opinion but they have been working wonderfully. The block feels sturdy and displays well in any kitchen. Quality knives are expensive but this is a great option for those that want good knives in a budget.

This is the second set I've bought. My mom got a set for her birthday and she loves them too. They are very sharp! Be very careful or you will get hurt. They are much better than some expensive brand I've had in the past.

My vision loss made it hard for me to see and feel the knives in my drawer. Always afraid to cut myself. Very happy with ny new knife set. I feel more safe now all the knives in one place on the edge keeper stand.

Sharp and good looking. We will see how they hold up as when unpacking them it said not to put in dishwasher-=hand wash and dry immediately. That will not happen in our vacation home.

I bought these as part of a gift for my husband and Im pretty disappointed in them. The handles are flimsy and cheap feeling and upon first inspection, I noticed that the handles and the metal of the actual knife were both VERY scratched up and dull on every knife. Because we needed a new knife set so badly, I decided to look over that and try to polish/buff out the scratches later. However, they just leave much to be desired in performance as well. They are somehow even less sharp than our old knife set that had been heavily abused over the years. The steak knives do not cut through meat without absolutely ripping it to shreds because of how much you have to saw at it. I have trouble cutting through a raw potato without having to use a good amount of muscle with the chefs knife. These are just not good knives.

We bought a set very similar to this one 13 years ago. So when it was time to replace it, naturally we thought we would get the quality we got last time. WRONG. The very first time we used each knife they were wonderful. Every time there after has been so awful. The metal is soft. There is chipping on the blade so bad that it looks like serrated knife instead of s chef's knife. The tip of each of the steak knifes are rolled and are not pointy after little use. We only cut meat and veggies. We NEVER soak knifes but some how all these knifes have pits of rust here and there. I am so disappointed that we actually brought our old set back up from the basement. We have had these knives 5 months. We wasted what little extra money we had saved on these.

This item can without the knives, I was out of the country for a while, got back , settled in and decide to open all the items I shopped for while I was away, only to find out that this item came without the knives , the item was properly sealed so no it wasn't stolen , they just left out the knives from the order

I have had this set of knives for 10 weeks and followed the manufacturer's instructions for use and care to the letter. While using one of the knives today, the plastic handle cracked and broke off at one of the rivets. I wasn't expecting superior quality when I ordered these but I did expect them to last longer. I wouldn't recommend you spend your money on these.

i purchased the knifeblock for a Christmas gift for my son in law. i was so disappointed and actually embarrassed at the quality of the knifeblock and knives when my son in law opened his gift. Although the knifeblock itself was in sealed plastic, it was covered in dust. We couldnt figure out how that could even be possible since it was in sealed plastic. My husband and I were actually watching a video call from our phone onto our tv as he was opening his gift. He commented on how dusty it was and dusted it off. The knifeblock had some kind of cut into it from a tool and was very blemished. Further inspection showed a crack also in the block. My son in law got the package of knives open and inspected each knife. One of the knives had a very noticeable broken edge. This is definitely a case of neglectful quality control. This set should have never passed inspection. Our plan is to return the knifeblock set. This situation will make me leary about ordering anything in the future. I regret not checking the set out before I gave it as a gift! I saw the set in person at Walmart before having to order it because they were sold out. It was a beautiful set and looked well made, so I never thought about receiving it in this condition. We all were very disappointed!!

As soon as I opened the box I could tell the quality was not what I expected. Considering the price, I wasn't expecting the highest quality, but being such a large name brand, I had higher expectations.
