Farberware Professional 8-inch Forged Textured Stainless Steel Chef Knife

I was given this product to leave an honest review. I really like the ease of use from this knife and it cuts cooked meat very well. The sleek design and the textured handle make the look even better. My parents used this to chop up some lettuce for salad and it cut right through it into nice slices. I really like this knife!! Definitely will be recommending this product!!

Really great quality, light weight knife. It came sharp as well and we've used it on a variety of items with no resistance. This was intended to be our back up knife (set) but is quickly becoming a favorite.

This knife is a winner! I've had all kinds of kitchen knives over the years and for the price, I absolutely recommend this one or two or three. :) The blade is sharp, it's not too heavy so your hands don't get tired after chopping tons of veggies, and the textured handle is a bonus. With solid steel knives, sometimes I don't feel like I have as good of a grip as with other materials, but the texture on this handle makes me feel more secure using it. It's also easier to clean because it's only one piece. I was given this as a gift to review and provide feedback and I honestly can't think of anything I would improve.

I really like this knife due to being made into one solid piece. This means to me that the handle won't be worned down or separate from the hilt. I have used in preparing meat and vegetables and cuts so smoothly. It stayed sharp through the whole cutting process. I have hand washed and also toss into the dishwasher and both ways have come out clean. One of the pros that I like is that it comes with a tip cover to help my drawer from being stabbed. I'm sure it appreciates not being stabbed every times that I open the drawer. I was provided with a free product in return for my honest review. Good knife so sharp it is hand washed only but that's OK and drying off right away!!! Only 4 star's because it's hand washed only!!!

I was gifted this product for my honest review. I like this knife. I have used higher quality, heavier more cumbersome knives. This gave a comfort level that the others did not provide. It was easy to maneuver without concern of slippage due to the ergonomic design. The blade is very sharp and slices easily yet does not raise concern for new cooks, assuming they hold it right. My daughter has used it and commented on how comfortable the grip is.

I was gifted this product so I could give an honest review. This is the large knife that is used less often than others in a household. So, I don't use it as much as my others. I like the textured stainless steel handle as I don't like the feel of flat stainless steel in my hands. The knife fits into my current counter knife holder so that is a plus for replacing my old one. It cuts larger objects as it was meant for. There are safety tips with the packaging as this is a large knife and people need to be aware the proper way to use it as the blade is large and could do physical damage if not used correctly. It is not able to use in the dishwasher which has always been known for any stainless steel product as far as I know. At some point, a household needs this size knife. It will not be used on a daily basis.
