Farberware Professional Dishwasher Safe 3-in-1 Plastic and Silicone Baster in Red

My first time using a baster. I honestly didn't think i would get such a good quality item for the price. I used the needle to give my thanksgiving turkey a butter BBL and it was extremely easy to use. I was able to clean it with the brush that it brings and still save it for another time. Last year I bought a different brand and the brush was a single use brush, the baster itself absorbed the butter so badly that i had to dispose of it. This one from Farberware was actually very easy to wash and i will continue using.

The Farberware 3-In-1 Baster is so much more versatile than the old basters I have been using. I have never used a flavor injector before, and this is a great feature. I used it to inject lemon juice into a chicken and then beer into a roast beef…that was fun! I like the rubber brush on the end of the tool to rub the juices into the meat after basting. The tube has measures marked for ¼ oz, ½ oz, and ¾ oz., as well as 7.5 ml, 15 ml and 22 ml so there is no guessing. The liquid flows up into the baster very easily with one pump. The flavor injector screws into the bottom of the baster (after you remove the basting brush). The injector has a slanted, sharp point for easy injection into the meat. The bulb of the baster is flat so you can stand it up to prevent a mess. There is also a cleaning brush that fits all the way into the tube to keep it clean, the rubber bulb and basting brush are quality rubber and everything is dishwasher safe so there is little chance of old food scraps staying anywhere in this item. I really like this 3-In-1 baster and can think of many applications in the kitchen. The only thing I would have liked is a few simple instructions on how to attach the flavor injector (remove basing brush first).

What a clever, nifty idea someone had for this 3 in 1 baster. Another winner from Farberware. this baster kit comes with the baster of course but also included is an injector attachment. There is a removable silicone brush tip that makes it so much easier to spread whatever flavoring you wish to use. There are measurement markings on the baster which is convenient and the bulb part of the baster has a flat end on it so that once you fill it with sauce or melted butter, etc you can stand it up on your counter or stove top so nothing spills. Gives you some time to screw on the injector attachment or the brush, whichever suits your needs at the time. Or you can just use the baster as is with nothing attached. It has very good suction also, whether for a thin liquid or thicker sauce. We put it to the test with a turkey breast. We used the baster to draw in our garlic butter flavoring then screwed on the injector and flavored it in several spots. While roasting, we put on the brush end and brushed more garlic butter on periodically. The end result was tender and delicious, very pleased with the results. The 3 in 1 baster came in very handy. One thing I forgot is that Farberware also included a cleaning brush with the kit, another plus. I love this! Give it a try......

This is a great Turkey baster tool! Good suction, and the attached silicone brush feature st the end of the tube is very useful to brush the juice on the roast as it browns. Yes it is a bit more expensive, but at about $10 it's worth it to get a tool that actually works, and looks like it will last over time.

I received the Farberware 3-in-1 baster for free through the Walmart Spark Review Program. This product became available for me to choose at the perfect time.....right at Thanksgiving time. Just as I do every year, I am the lucky soul stuck with cooking for my entire family. Now don't get me wrong, I love to do it, but it is a ton of work for any one person one person to do. Now, over the years, I have gone through numerous basters. Most of the basters I have tried have either leaked and have had no suction power. I am happy to report that the Faberware 3-in-1 baster held up beautifully and did the job. Now, I just used this product as a baster alone this Thanksgiving. This baster can also be used as a flavor injector (with the screw on needle provided) and also a silicone brush that attaches for basting during BBQ-ing. This wonderful set also includes a cleaning brush to get up into and clean the baster when finished. I definitely recommend this product.

Exactly what we needed after ours melted in the dishwasher - this one does not!!! and easy to use! also comes with a brush which is an extra nice idea and also a rubber brush for basting and glazing

I'm beginning to see the value in many kitchen utensils that my mother and grandmother once used. Daily cooking and baking along with making my own pet food, I am cooking a chicken or turkey about 3-4 times times a month. There's nothing quite like a well basted entree. After much research on lasting quality, ease of use, ability to clean properly, and being BPA free I found Farberware's baster kit. I appreciate the thought that Farberware took in the design of the baster and so nice to have the extras. A great cleaning brush, injector attachment, silicone brush attachment for full coverage of juices, and a quality bulb are all included! I was able to remove and replace the silicone bulb for cleaning with no problem. The clear plastic base, convenientally marked with measurements, is quite sturdy. The suction was great! No mess and the baster stands straight up with the level top bulb. No wobbles or dropsies to worry about. This is a tool kit that will be handy in the kitchen, no matter what you have planned to serve. A great tool for marinating meats, I would definitely recommend to all cooks. I'm thinking this might be helpful in drizzling a glaze over cakes or a ham. Treat yourself to a great baster kit!

Very basic. If you want something that is cheap in price and gets the job done, then this is a great cooking tool. brush made it easy to clean.i was very satisfied. my only complaint is the tube is a little too small.

This baster was first used on Thanksgiving and it worked very well, then was hand washed with soap %26 water as directed %26 components put into a plastic bag. Then when we needed it for Christmas Dinner a month later it leaked down the side. Upon closer inspection there were cracks in the main plastic tube. We needed it so we used it leaking to baste, and after washing it again we could see it cracked even more. I would not Recommend this Item. This Wouldn't let me add photos

It's great as far as the value of it but it doesn't work. It doesn't baste well when I tried to use it for a ham and make the topping. The topping wouldn't go up in the tube and the brush didn't really work. The topping was a liquid and just wouldn't come out when I didn't manage to get something in the tube. It wasn't hard to clean so more stars on that.
