Farberware Professional Locking Stainless Steel Food Tongs with Silicone Tip Black

i like the fact it locks, so much easier storing it away in my utensil container that way. so easy to to handle and use. i like the silicone part as it's so eady to clean. and that it's from Farberware. that's all my kitchen utensils are if not KitchenAid. it's handle is stainless steel. als easy to clean . i can handle this pair of tongs so mych better than my old pair which got rusty do easy. that's one thing about stainless dteel it doesn't seem to rust as easy.

I bought these to replace the pathetic tongs Walmart sold me earlier. Notice the arms are joined together in such a way that they will not twist on you like the inferior offerings. The parts that grip the food are safe to 500F. My air fryer tops out at 450F so these are perfect. The ability to instantly lock the arms in place is a plus as well.

Easy to handle, grip onto food well. Easy to clean. Good quality. The lock makes them easy to store in a drawer.

The tongs are well made. The silicon tip seems to stay on well and hold up under high heat. I like that they do not scratch up the teflon pans, and is strong enough to move or rotate heavy food items.

Silicon is see through in spots so the metal is exposed.

not that convenient, my original selection was out of stock, this one is quite bulky for my small hands, and the silicon tips are not very flexible, nor can easily grip

Horrible product. Black "silicone" tips smell like old rubber tires. Tips are clunky and metal comes through the end. Handles cheap and bulky. Would never consider using these near food! Threw them away, not even worth the hassle of returning. Shame on Faberware for selling this garbage.
