Farberware Professional Mandoline Slicer

It was easy to assemble and use. The blades are sharp making slicing veggies easy and saving time. The size is easy to tuck in your cabinet or under the sink but providing a nice size compartment to catch your veggies. Worth the money!!

This thing was so amazing. It was super easy to use. Instructions were very clear easy cleanup, fast put away if this thing ever breaks I'll buy the exact same one again.

I love that all the blades store nicely in the slicer and the tray to catch sliced food is a decent size and prevents the food going everywhere the hand guard which I think looks like a little cowboy hat is a little hard to use, but so far i'm loving this slicer from tomatoes to a small ham it slices and shreds quite nicely

Bought this to use for slicing cucumbers for pickles because we couldn’t find a simple hand slicer that would give us waves. We couldn’t use the holder thing because you have to exert a lot of pressure to get it to cut and the cucumber would wind up breaking. Have not used it for anything else, hope it works better for other purposes. It is made of plastic, but it didn’t seem like it was flimsy or would break easily.

well the slicer is not adjustable so you only have one slice thickness that you could do I thought it would be different I'll keep it because I could use it for different things but it's not really what I wanted

The price point was very good, but the product wasn't very user friendly. I used it once and it is still sitting in the box.

Poor design. Slider doesn’t want to slide the veggies over the blade easily. I very stupidly was in a hurry today and didn’t use the slider. I am now without a thumb tip. It does not stay put on the counter well either. I’m usually super careful, and I know better!!! Look for something better quality, where your fingers will stay intact….

couldn't adjust the blade to make things thinner. also feels very cheap. you get what you pay for though. i will definitely be buying a better one. will maybe use it to grate cheese or something but its kind of pointless.

The prongs are not sharp enough to pierce and hold what you are trying to slice. This resulted in me sustaining a pretty significant cut across a knuckle when the food came off the prongs while I was slicing. This also looked like a return because it was missing some plastic wrapping and the box had obviously been retaped. Because it didn't look like it had actually been used and I really needed it, I gave it a try....DON'T!!!
