Farberware Professional Nylon Kitchen Basting Spoon Black

I love the wider handle on this spoon! Now that I am getting older, using a thinner handle large utensil can sometimes make my hand hurt and cramp up. It was making my love of cooking slowly become something I rarely did, or used to do. It has a perfect weight, and isn't flimsy at all. I have so many different brands in my kitchen, and have used numerous others over the years. So far, this is in my top 3.

I have other spoons like this but prefer this one. This spoon has a deeper spoon and allows you to pick up more contents and also has a sturdy and solid feel to it. I thought all of these were alike but this one is definitely a better spoon than my others!

I have used this for making sauces, soups, stews and more! I really love how srurdy the material is, not the flimsy palstic material that collapses as soon as you put pressure on it, this spoon takes the pressure and the heat with ease. You can stir, smash, scoop and more and not worry about the spoon holding up to what you put it through. I really like the spoon well design, it allows you to rest the spoon on the counter and not worry about stuff spilling out and all over your work surfaces. This material it is made of is strong enough that you get a greta grip on the spoon, which makes it easy to use for an and all tasks a spoon can be used for. Another great Farberware product,and this just makes me want more of thier kicthen tools!

This farberware professional nylon basting spoon is perfect for soups, basting and more. I love the depth of the spoon for soups. I use it for making my yummy potato sausage and kale soup. It has a very sturdy handle. It does not get hot and is easy to use. Highly recommend!

I honestly wasn't expecting much from a plastic cooking spoon, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how well this one has held up so far. I've used it twice already, once for its intended purpose of basting and another time just for stirring while cooking, and there's been no visible damage, warping, or weakening at all despite the heat and regular use. One of my favorite features is the unique design of the spoon itself. The shape keeps the spoon head elevated so it doesn't touch the counter or table when set down, which helps keep things much cleaner and more mess free while cooking. It's a really smart feature that I didn't realize I'd appreciate so much until actually using it. Because of that design, the handle is a bit heavier than a typical spoon, but personally I think it's a fair trade off for the convenience and cleanliness. It still feels comfortable to use, and the added weight actually makes it feel more sturdy. Overall, I do recommend this spoon. It's functional, durable so far, and has a unique design that genuinely stands out from regular cooking utensils.

The Farberware Basting Spoon is very sturdy. It's on the heavier side compared to similar spoons. There are no crevices that food to get in and cause bacteria. It's a nice solid spoon. It does very well with not only my basting, but cooking too. This spoon does not scratch any of pots and pans. I like that it has lip on the handle so the spoon doesn't rest on the counter or a need for a spoon rest. It can be wash in the dishwasher safely. Overall, the Farberware Basting Spoon is a very well spoon that will last in your kitchen. This spoon would make a great house warming gift or a gift for a chef. The Farberware Professional Nylon Basting Spoon is seriously nice! It was made out of such a solid, high quality material. It also washes up very nicely. The depth of the spoon makes scooping much easier than your typical spoon.
