Farberware Professional Nylon Soup Ladle Black

This is a great standard ladle with the addition of a pouring spout. Great for gravies, soups or cream sauces! Washes up well and is a nice medium size. Not too large, not too small. The only way I could think to improve this would be if it had a little lip to set on the side of a pot or bowl. Otherwise it's great!

It is sturdy, can be washed in the dishwasher. It is a good size and is plastic. It is non stick, comfortable to use and affordable. You can use it on non stick pans and pots. It is great for spill free serving. You can use for soups, chili and stews.

I used the Farberware ladle for gumbo, which is a thicker, heartier stew. The ladle didn't bend. The handle felt very comfortable in my hand. It didn't drip anywhere and poured cleanly into the bowl! The spout on the ladle is a great touch. I was skeptical at first because it is plastic, and I haven't had much success with plastic ladles (they bend under weight), but this ladle didn't do that at all. Great product!

I absolutely love using this farberware ladle!! It's heavy duty so I don't worry about it breaking or melting and it has a small pour spout perfect for soups and pouring liquids without making a mess. It matches perfect with my kitchen decor and is a necessary addition to my cooking utensils!!

I've been using the ladle, and it's worked very well for me. It's not flimsy and has some solid weight to it (but not too much that's it heavy!) it stays where I put it and doesn't fall out of the pot at all. It has a large scoop for some hefty meals (hello stew!) and pours easily with the lip on the side. All in all, one of the better ladles I have used.

This ladle is very sturdy, sleek, and has nice touches of silver. Fits great in the drawer. Although I received the product for free, I looked up the retail price out of curiosity and believe it is very reasonably priced. I would certainly buy this product if I needed a ladle that will likely last for years.

This is the best ladle in my utensil holder. Very heavy duty and easy to hold onto and use. Did I mention heavy duty. I have other ladies that seem a little light weight and this one far exceeds the ones I have, I was so glad to receive this one. The previous ones have been quickly replaced and disposed of.

I was sent a Farberware Professional Ladle for free in exchange for providing a review. The Farberware Ladle definitely looks and feels like a ladle that would be used in many kitchens across the board, be it everyday or for use by professional chefs. The first things I noticed is how heavy and well-made the handle is. The label states their is a No Mess Tip Up, which I think is the reason for the heavy handle. If you don't have a spoon rest, but place it on your stove top, the ladle won't fall over sideways, and thereby residual liquid won't spill out from the bowl of the ladle. I like how deep the ladle is so that a lot of food may be scooped up each time it is dipped. One thing about the ladle I did note though, since I am left-handed is the pour spout is on the left, which means it is more so made to comfortably be used by right-handed people. But despite that design of the ladle, I was still able to use the it without making any spills or messes. I look forward to using it for many soups, stews and chili's. It can even be used to dip up beverages from a large punch bowl. I suggest buying the Farberware Professional Ladle because I feel like it is much more sturdy and will likely last much longer than any other I have owned. I will definitely look at and consider purchasing other serving utensils like this from Farberware.

I received this item as a gift! This is a well made ladle with good proportions. I particularly liked the spout to pour from without spilling. The handle is solid with a good weight to balance the load in the spoon. Being nylon/plastic, I'm inclined to use this spoon just for cool items like punch, gazpacho etc. overall very happy with this addition to my kitchen.

I did enjoy using the Farberware Professional Ladle. The ladle is sturdy and I like how the handle is equipped so that the ladle doesn't touch the surface. The ladle has a nice distribution of weight. My only complaint is that the spout on the ladle is not established for a left-handed person.
