Farberware Professional Old Fashioned Scoop
I like that it's easier to scoop and release ice cream with the push of my thumb on the lever. I don't like that the handle and lever are made of black plastic. However, the durability of the ice cream scoop feels like it'll last a long time ! I'm happy with this item and would recommend 💯

When the grandkids come over I break out my handy little scooter to whip up the ice cream cones. I also pack in our picnic basket.well made and easy on the hands.🥳

I love this ice cream scope it made me when I was a little girl. I'm 75 now and it really works just as well now and if it did then I really really like it.

Bought this after getting an ice cream machine
I've used this scoop several times after making my own ice cream. It does the job well, is well built and seems like it will hold up over a long period of time.

The scoop is plastic rather than metal. I would have preferred a metal one at that price. Farberware is a familiar name so I purchased it based on that.

Plastic handle is cheaply made and could break
The handle is made of plastic so need to be very careful while using it to scoop very hard frozen ice-cream. To play it safe, hold the scooper at the base where is all metal instead of the handle to scoop. For the price, this seems to be okay. I would have spent few bucks more for a full metal scooper.

What's your intention
Great for the price and can spare to loose it. Say you are the one to bring ice cream to the kids class or ice cream social. Not great for a reliable kitchen tool. The handle broke about the third time we used it. Still functional but for small hands. Which sucks for majority of adults but I love the thumb lever, it's full and has good spring action.

Don't waste your money
I was really disappointed with this ice cream scooper. It felt cheap right out of the package, and the handle broke within a week of normal use. It also doesn't cut through ice cream well at all — even softer ice creams were a struggle. I ended up replacing it almost immediately. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Scoop was a big dud!
Love Faberware. Quality is great usually..... This scoop broke straight out of the package. Forced to borrow a scoop because I had no way to return it in a timely manner.

DOESN'T WORK
DOESN'T WORK RIGHT. WHEN I TRIED TO USE IT, I COULDN'T GET THE STUPID ICE CREAM TO RELEASE FROM THE SCOOP. TRIED USING HOT WARM ON IT FIRST - THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER.
